However, when I arrived at the confirmed time, I was told that the car was not available. It was out as a service loaner and there seems to be very poor communication between the "internet department" where I made the appointment and the dealership. My wife and I had traveled 30 miles to get to the dealer in a neighboring state of ours, so we were very disappointed and not happy at all. The salesman, Rami Kordab, left me a voicemail later in the day saying that the car would be available in a few days. I had no intention at the time of making another trip to this dealer. However, the next day I got an email from the manager, Nick Salem, saying that they were eager to do what they could to earn my business. So I wrote back and said: bring the car to me! Well, they did! Rami drove the car to our house and my wife and I spent about a half hour driving it. Turns out the car, while a 2022, had been in use as a service loaner for about 8 months and had 9000 miles on it. However, it was in great shape. We negotiated a deal with a good price for my trade-in and a decent discount on the "new" car. All while standing in my driveway. Rami impressed me. It was a pleasure working with him. He lived up to all the promises he made, regarding a thorough cleaning of the car and taking care of the registration in our home state. He gave me a very helpful orientation to the car when I picked it up. So while we got off to a bad start due to poor communication (if you set up a test drive with the internet department, call the dealer to confirm), in the end I was very pleased. I was treated fairly and respectfully and would consider repeat business with Norwood Volvo and Rami.
