Review

This VW definately puts the "SPORT" in
SUV. It handles like no other on the
market, is luxurious, fast, and
outright fun. Not many SUV's can claim
that. This SUV does not seem to suffer
the dreaded "soccer mom" curse that
most of the competition does, thanks
for not putting in a 3rd row seat! The
build quality, and fit/finish are on
par with the best of anything on the
road today. Absolutely no regret in
getting this vehicle. I have other
VW's, and will continue to buy them. No
other manufacturer makes anything that
does all things so well. Great job VW!!

Best Features

Interior design and quality of materials, performance, fit and finish. Reliability has been faultless.

Worst Features

Nav system is great, just takes too long to figure out. Make it easier to use.

Review

Overall a fantastic car. I love
driving it and catching other drivers
taking quick glances at it.
Spectacular fit and finish. the AT is
a little frustrating as it's not more
aggressive in "normal" mode and the
gas mileage is horrendous in sport. I
would definately buy it again, and if
I had the $5000 extra the V8.

Best Features

visibility being high in traffic. the leather, wood, aluminium interior is beautiful. good size for zipping around town and road trips.

Worst Features

I want to scroll through presets on the radio via the steering wheel and the dash info system is nice but complicated. all the bonging/binging/warning noises when the car starts up are excessive. Front pass. airbag warning lite is not needed. the bad gas mileage is astonishing.

Review

I just purchased my Touareg V6 with
Premium II, and so far I have not
encountered any problems I have read
here. Test drove FX35, felt a bit
harsh, and my 3 year old complained
during the test drive. Test drove
RX330, solid Lexus quality, but there
are just so dang many and boring. Ride
quality felt like that of a Camry. Test
drove the Volvo XC90 T6 AWD (this is
the top of line twin turbo). Touareg V6
has more guts than the Volvo T6 AWD.
Touareg felt the most solid out of all
these cars I just mentioned. It seems
like they just need to work out the
little kinks.

Best Features

Quite a few...

Worst Features

Where is the fuse box?! The beeping noise for everything from seat belt, to low gas warning is really annoying. I want to take it out of commission. Power rear door should be considered. Reclining rear seat. Better fuel economy.

Review

nice from far but far from nice. i'm
appalled at the 8.5 mpg i'm getting.
brakes constantly wail, clunk on up
shift or downshift, leather stiching
pulling apart at 3,500 miles and the
car has a chime or buzzer for
everything, have to pull the fuses to
shut it up. should have kept my audi
allroad...

Best Features

stereo has good bass, thats about it
