2004 Volkswagen R32 2dr Hatchback (3.2L 6cyl 6M)

I've never had so much fun on road
trips (even the 2 mile jaunt to
work). The power band is wide,
suspension is tight, and seats are
supportive. The downside, I wouldn't
call it a steal at $30k, but you just
can't understand until you drive it.
It's also a bit heavy, so a few more
HP or less weight would be
appreciated. I have an AWD five-
seater with a powerful, silky-smooth
VR6, (mini) SUV storage capacity, and
compact car fuel economy.

Best Features

The exhaust! The ECU opens a bypass valve at 3250 RPM above 40 mph. It sounds great and unleashes about 10 HP. Oh yeah, the bigger VR6 delivers the most smooth power I've felt. Also, the Haldex clutch only engages rear wheels when needed, so great performance with great economy.

Worst Features

I need a spare tire, which isn't included (AUDI TT 225 fits, though). I wanted factory XM radio. Power seats would have been nice, but not necessary.
