2005 Volkswagen Passat GLS 1.8T Fwd 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl Turbo 5M)

For less than $23000 excellent built quality, great looking, superb interior materials. perfectly ballanced ride comfortable but with little body role, outstanding safety features (active restrain seat belts, side and head curtain airbags, esp), excellent performance considering the 1.8T economy engine giving highway milage of 32+ and suburban mileage of 26+. This is the best car I have owned so far. In my opinion the best value among wagons and family cars seating 5 currently available

Best Features

It feels like each part, function and design fits together perfectly. The built quality is unmatched in the $20000 price range. Excellent balance of performance and economy. Great seats (leatherette)which are easy to clean. Variable and large trunk space with cover and wide and easy access opening.

Worst Features

none - it's the last year of the current model and it has been improved since 98 - well maybe memory power seats and automatic climate control would be nice (only avialable for V6)
