I kept waiting for "buyers regret" to set in and
it hasn't. The torque the engine provides
pulls all the way to redline and the six speed
manual gives you all the choices you need
to keep you entertained. The car has the
added benefit of not attracting undue
attention from the local police. Having ESP
(stability control) instead of ASR (plain old
traction control) is a big benefit for
Minnesota winters.

Best Features

Handling characteristics and accelleration are my favorite things about the car. It drives like a much more expensive vehicle. Because it's a Volkswagen nobody thinks you're trying to prove anything.

Worst Features

In very cold weather the suspension becomes too firm and harsh. I had hoped that 4-motion was available when I bought it. There was only one equipped the way I wanted it in 13 states. So availability was an issue.
