Test Driver Ratings & Comments

Acceleration commentsThe 2.0 FSI feels particularly strong in the Eos -- even though its acceleration numbers are not as good as the GTI. Still, the power is strong from down low all the way to redline.
Braking ratingAverage
Braking commentsFade is apparent in the pedal (if not strong performance) after the third run. Soft pedal distracts from the Eos' otherwise excellent manners.
Handling ratingGood
Handling commentsGood balance around the skid pad is limited only by hard, long-wearing tires. The Eos has superb off-center steering feel and comes alive in the slalom for a car with only mild sporting intentions.
