Vehicle

2011 Volkswagen CC R-Line PZEV 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6AM)

Review

The DSG transmission does this car a complete injustice. There is a significant hesitation from a stop, and the shifts are jerky and unpleasant. VW couples this half-engineered transmission with an engine that has significant turbo lag - turning every city trip into a manic journey along the torque curve. Everything settles down once you get the car up to speed, making the CC an enjoyable highway car. The exterior and interior styling is fantastic, but the transmission will be a disappointment to anyone who has ever driven a well built, thoughtfully engineered car or truck from a reputable manufacturer.

Best Features

Exterior styling. Bluetooth connectivity.

Worst Features

Scrap the DSG transmission. Build some low-end torque into the 2.0T engine.

2011 Volkswagen CC Sport 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6AM)

Review

Love the car. Constantly get compliments at gas station or car wash. Sporty, comfortable interior. Superb highway cruiser. Must use cruise control or you will spend a night at the Mayberry jail.

Best Features

exterior looks, seats, tech goodies inside work great

Worst Features

I am devoted to this car, but I must say the trans can be a little herky jerky when accelerating from a dead stop. It is fine if you put some decent foot pressure on the pedal. But it seems if you try to feather on the power it can occassionally jerk a bit. However, you put your foot in it and OH MY...hold on. Its a rocket.

2011 Volkswagen CC Sport 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6AM)

Review

Gave it high marks. Positives: Solid gas mileage. Light. Sporty and fun to drive. Nice interior. Excellent value. Cons: 4 seater w/limited head room. Engine lags when stepping on gas
Needs more power. Gas and brake pedal are to close to each other. Very limited 3 year maintenance plan. Lots of plastic in engine compartment.

Best Features

Price, look, handling.

Worst Features

More horsepower/larger engine.

Review

This ride is a straight up head turner! sport feature is amazing and on the freeway going 60+ just so smooth. Interior / exterior are beautiful they really put effort into making this cc look more expensive then it really is. BEST THING ABOUT THIS RIDE YOU HARDLY SEE IT ON THE ROAD SO WHEN IT PASSES BY DEF. CATCHES PPLZ EYES.. BEST DECISION I EVER
MADE IM VERY PICKY WHEN IT COMES TO CARS. I WANTED TO BUY THE AUDI A4 BUT ITS TO EXPENSIVE WHEN I TEST DROVE THE CC SPORT I WAS SOLD ON THE SPOT IM 24 YEARS OLD AND A PROUD VW OWNER !!!

Vehicle

2011 Volkswagen CC VR6 4Motion Executive 4dr Sedan AWD (3.6L 6cyl 6A)

Review

I purchased a 2011 V6 4 motion 2 weeks ago after trading in my 2008 Audi TT coupe. I initially considered: BMW 328i sedan, 335i sedan, 335d sedan, Mercedes c300. Almost purchased the BMW 335, but was told by a service manager that reliability wasn't great and frankly the interior was poor considering the price. The Volkswagen is a great compromise between a sporty car and a great interior if thats what you are looking for. I chose the V-4 4 motion mostly because of the extra HP, AWD, and the alternate 6sp transmission compared to the 4cyl with DSG. My Audi had the same 200 HP/DSG, and i HATED that trans. It was great for MPG, but what a jerky ride and mechanical problems. I love the VW >Audi

Best Features

Navi can be used while driving, free Sirus traffic for 6 months, MP3 player connection displays song title Vs my Audi just listed Track 1--1000, retractable rear window shade, good moon roof (tilts only), excellent seats for all passengers, full size spare (no expensive run flatss) large trunk, rear view camera for parking- its actually very easy to park considering the size( its the same size as my wife's Infiniti Fx35), i have a compact spot and fit with no problem. The 4 motion is AMAZING in rain, V-6 feels much more powerful compared to the 4cyl, be ready for poor city fuel economy 15-17 MPG.

Worst Features

Longer standard warranty, only 3 yrs, 360000 miles, at least it included free service. I purchased an extended warranty with VW for 1600 for 6 yrs.750000 miles. Reliability has yet to be tested (2 weeks old only).
