My Park City, Utah car!

2024 Volkswagen Taos
I needed an inexpensive AWD SUV to leave at our second home in Park City, Utah. After looking and driving the closest competition (Hyundai Kona, Subaru Impreza) I decided on the VW Taos S based on price and standard features such as Apple CarPlay, Adaptive Cruise Control, non-CVT transmission, heated seats, and back-up camera. I wish it had power seat adjustment and keyless entry … (available on SE trim), but I didn't want to spend an additional $2000 for the SE. The VW is a little roomier than the other cars as well plus it has the German car driving feel which I like. The other thing that appealed to me was the VW dealer was not pushy or hard sell - didn't try to add on a bunch of unnecessary stuff. I'm not sure this is true of all VW dealers, but Capitol VW in San Jose was definitely low pressure. I got a good deal on a 2024 just as 2025's are starting to arrive, so I feel great about this purchase.
