I'd like to share my very positive experience with all the professionals working at AutoNation Ford East in Cleveland (technically Wickliffe OH). Particularly with my salesman Antonio, his boss, Earl, and the head of finance, Jesse. In 2021-2022 the auto industry has a low supply and high demand. During this time, for many months, I have been shopping around for an electric car (EV) from a range of companies, VW, Tesla, Ford, Volvo, and become accustomed to only occasionally finding one available at a dealership and then often being disappointed as the process of buying it always held moments where the sales team was less than transparent regarding extra fees or higher than expected interest rates etc. Often dealerships refused to even match special deals/interest rates offered by their own company on a national website. My brother has been a salesmen for 20 years, most of the time selling Ford vehicles. He jokes that the dealerships are full of gangsters and tells me stories. So I'm well aware of what you can encounter. YET with the crew at AutoNation Ford East I was continually surprised that I was never disappointed by a bait and switch or any shenanigans whatsoever. I even said to my wife "Just wait this is where it will fall apart" and that never happened! Antonio, Earl and Jesse were straightforward and transparent at every stage of the negotiation, AND they were happy to do the entire process over email. Some sales people will just refuse to talk to you that way, slowly, carefully, over email. It takes quite a bit more patience and effort to have a slow, written conversation with a customer that way. And the staff at AutoNation Ford East would respond quickly to my numerous questions in emails. My experience was just plain refreshing and the car is fantastic. The deal was the kind my brother says is his goal in every transaction, that both parties walk away happy. Thus I really want to thank AutoNation in Wickliffe OH for being so professional and straightforward. It is greatly appreciated.

I was looking to purchase a New KIA so I shopped around the internet like many people today. After seeing the ads and commercials on TV I decided to contact Ken Ganley KIA via their internet website. Almost immediately I was bombarded with texts from Holli asking many questions which was fine but later that afternoon I received a text from Holli asking if I was able to make it down to their site. I told her NO I never said I was going and that I wanted to shop for the auto from home over the internet first as I told her many times before. I asked her via text several times to have a sales person call me. I received a call from a gentlemen within the next 15 minutes. I told him what I was looking for in the vehicle and gave him my options on purchasing the car. I told him that he can either call me with the details and numbers or send me those to me via email which I preferred and in a HEART BEAT in Quickly replied “OH NO” we don’t do that, I said do what? He said we don’t give numbers over the phone or send them in emails, he told me over and over it’s OUR policy and we ARE NOT ALLOWED. He said I HAD to drive down there in person. I told him that’s ridiculous, I’m not going to drive 60+ miles one way to find out his numbers are not that good. He then said “WE ARE THE BIGGEST KIA DEALER IN OHIO” I said I don’t care how big you are, why do you advertise that you have internet sales then, he then said “WE DON’T ADVERTISE THAT” but keep in mind Holli is in internet sales she told me. I also think it absolutely ridiculous that you not only want someone to drive all the way to your site without knowing numbers BUT to add to the FEAR of the covid-19 going around that they would make this easier on the customer NOT HARDER! I take care of my elderly mother and have preexisting conditions myself , the LAST thing I need to do is to drive to Medina, 60+ miles one way to be inside an office with a bunch of people during these times. They evidently DO NOT CARE about anything other than trying to trap you in a sale. TO bad you lost me as a customer and everyone I can tell about my experience. You might think your ”THE LARGEST IN THE STATE” as the sales man said BUT ONE THING I CAN TELL YOU is that ““YOU WON’T BE SEEING ME IN A KEN GANLEY KIA””
