2021 Toyota Prius
This is our second Prius. I loved our 2014. So we traded it in for a 2021. Huge mistake. This one didn’t have a GPS system. It had only 1 glove compartment instead of 2. AND we didn’t realize until this week that it doesn’t come with a spare tire!!! Unacceptable. It comes with a can of fix a flat. That doesn’t work when the local car wash tract yanks off a tire sensor. I had just pulled … out of the car wash and turned right. Pulling away I start to hear wop wop wop. I had to go two blocks before I found a place to pull in. I see the ! on. Back passenger tire is flat. I call AAA. He comes and lifts the trunk out to find- no spare. He had to tow me home. We take the tire off and go to Costco. They find the inside tire shredded with the way the sensor was broken off. They don’t carry that tire. So back in the car and off to Toyota. 3 hours late they gave us a tire but don’t have a sensor. So I have now spent 8 hours trying to fix a flat and it still isn’t finished. This is unacceptable!!!!! Bring back the spare tire. The tow truck guy says he is seeing this on a regular basis. Again, not acceptable! If this had happened on a highway we could be stuck somewhere for days before we got the correct tire and sensor!
