I had been speaking with an associate about a car I was interested in. I lived quite some ways from the dealership and wanted to have some idea as to what the numbers could be if a deal was made. I knew it would not be exact because there are always factors that change things price wise. That guy ghosted me because I refused to come in without at lease talking about possible figures...apparently he could only "make magic happen" on a Wednesday...because he insisted the deal be made that day. I get in touch with another associate. He insists I come in...I explained to him what I would prefer happen before I drive over an hour to see and drive the vehicle. Again, nothing finalised, just a ballpark estimate of what we would be looking at if I purchased the car. He ghosted me too. I made an appointment to go see the car on a Friday after the scheduling manager called and asked if I could make it. Unfortunately something came up and I had to cancel. The dealership called me Saturday morning and asked if I could make it in. I told them yes and I was assured the car would be ready to go at 2:00. I drove 1 1/2 hours through Northern Virginia traffic...only to be told that the car was not even on the lot...but was at another location having work done to it. Got back in my car and drove the 1 1/2 hours home...AND NOT A SINGLE PERSON CALLED FROM THE DEALERSHIP!!! Not one...no one. No apology...nothing. I called the Internet scheduler and left a message. She said she would get back to me with information about the car...but I never heard from her again. So...if you actually want to buy a car...buy from a dealership that is a bit more professional and values the customer...because this one ain't it!

Please do not be fooled by the "Number 1 sales volume" Banners that hang in Darcars show room. They reached those goals by being hard hearted, coaursive [non-permissible content removed], that will say anything to get you to buy a potential lemon. During the pandemic, my wife and I decided to patron Darcars of Silver Spring in hopes of buying a dependable used vehicle. We basically accepted the first offer for a certified used van and agreed to purchase all the back office incentives that were available, including an extended bumper to warranty. That warranty was purchased to bring my wife a peace of mind. Providing my wife with confidence that she had a vehicle that she would be able to depend on while I was deployed. However, to our dissatisfaction, we were sold a non-dependable Toyota that has a worthless bumper to bumper warranty. We purchased the Platinum covegage level of the Toyota Extra Care for $2,600 and it did not cover any of the damage to the carpet or floorboads from the water collecting underneath. The warranty did not even cover the cost to diagnose the vehicle, which was $180. It is a shame that we cannot get the air conditioning damages resolved and that I must see my 6-month-old gag and cough because of the mildew smell that the moisture in the carpet has caused. So if you do not have a consumer protection attorney on speed dial, please consider going to another dealership. Hopefully the next dealership you choose may care about the people to whom they sell cars. Please, please, please take this review into considerations and choose any other dealership, becuse this one will disown you immediately after you step out their dealerships door. Sincerely Mr. York

This was far and away the sketchiest used car dealership I've ever been to and that's saying a lot. In a random alley, their stock was nowhere near up to date on their website, they acted surprised when I pointed out that the car smelled like the inside of a cigarette, and just overall a really weird vibe. The cars in stock weren't really great quality. They have high end cars but they are in terrible shape and priced as if they are pristine. They offered to sit at the computer with me to look at stock but I couldn't look a the lot and the whole thing was just weird.

I saw a 2019 Pathfinder with low miles and a trailer hitch, which was my requirement for a new vehicle. I called the day before to make sure the car was still available and made an appointment for the next day. I called that morning to ensure the vehicle was still available and asked for financing. The sales rep said the car was still available and he would see me at my appointment. I take a $50 Uber an hour from home to the dealership. I got there and test drove the 2019 I reserved. Once the test drive was over and we were back at the dealership, the sales rep told me the car I test drove was sold that morning. They proceeded to try to get me to buy a 2022 Pathfinder at $51K😒. I was very pissed off, to say the least. The manager wanted to sell me another car with double the miles and the same price tag. I spent $100 in Ubers and hours wasted. Oh, and by the way, the vehicle is still on their websites for the Springfield location and Richmond location! They are a bunch of scammers trying to bait and switch buyers. I recommend looking for a more honest dealership that won't waste your time and money!
