2024 Toyota Grand Highlander
I’ve owned a 2024 Grand Highlander for 3 months. Still no second key, digital key not reliable at times wanted key fob placed on start button. Single key fob temporally missing twice. Hood vibrates and worsens with road surface, needs a pressure crease to strengthen it, quite annoying. Brakes have too much travel and somewhat soft. Bottom of door card vibrates and worsens depending on … road surface. Center display has a cloud across the top, needs to visit dealer. Fake wood trim is cheap. Use of technology, dash, infotainment, and mirror very difficult, still don't comprehend it all. Engine noise unlike my previous 3 Toyotas. Manuals lengthy and confusing, having to look at subject matter in more than one place.
Struggled between a 2 and 3 star rating when I compare to my previous 3 Toyotas, which I would give a 4..

I must update my first review written on 12/13/23. After accruing over 5600 miles, on this Platinum model, most all from trips, mpg is over 24 and bounces over 25 even 26 depending on circumstances. Ride is good, and handling is good but for a little sway in quick maneuvers, probably due to the weight/suspension. Lane tracing is very good takes a bit of getting use to. Heated, cooled seats are great. Performance is okay but not as good or smooth as my 2016 Highlander V6. The hood continues to vibrate. The assistive cruise can be a little too active, and can be cumbersome trying to get to and use “normal” cruise. The infotainment screen still has the top fog only in gps or directions mode. Technician investigated and said its like that on new GH and other models. Still no second key fob, numerous calls to Toyota, told must wait for them to notify me. Im sure there are other owners out there is same situation. Keep calling them, they sold this vehicle knowing about this deficit. Just dont get stuck without the key fob around. I wiil upgrade my rating to a 4, its not a 5 like my 2016 Highlander Limited
