Dealer Review:

I have been in contact with a sales person for 1 month before we finally came to an agreement on a car and a price. I qualified for the Tier 1 rate of 1.9% for 48 months. I placed $1,000 deposit and waited for the allocation to arrive 2 weeks after I signed the paperwork. There was a delay in the shipment and I did not take delivery of the car until the week after the initial 2 week estimated delivery. When I walked into the finance office, they informed me that the 1.9% rate is no longer valid because that offer was for the previous month despite my signing the agreement with that rate in that month. The current rate is now 2.49% for 48 months. This is a complete bait and switch. Nowhere did the terms say the offer is valid only if the vehicle is taken delivery within the same month. Why am I, the customer being penalized for the time delay of the vehicle arriving to the dealership? They have every discretion to honor the deal but they did not. The dealership markup and forced accessory upgrade was already a bitter pill to swallow and now switching up the rate just so the dealership can make more money?! Dealerships are making more money now with less inventory than ever before. This dealership is very short-sighted in that they prefer to make a short term profit over maintaining a life time customer of buying and servicing my vehicle with them and word of mouth within my network of family and friends. This is why people hate dealerships; all the underhanded tricks they try to pull over customers. The President of South Coast is also the VP/GM of Toyota of Orange. If this is how they conduct business, I caution everyone to reconsider doing business with them. You'll end up frustrated and wasting time.

Went in to look at a 2014 Civic. Car was in good shape inside and out minus some cosmetic issues that were easily fixable. Got a quote and they were trying to force sell a $1,595 “theft safety feature” that they claimed was pre-installed when I know for a fact it isn’t cause it’s illegal to do that. The guy claimed that all their vehicles come with it and that they wouldn’t take it off. Do not deal with them.

Horrible horrible. My son purchase a vehicle on June 24, 2022. He was leaving from college and the entire ABS system went out, luckily he was smart to through the emergency brake on . He could of hurt himself or someone else on the road. We took the car to Infiniti and they sat aged the entire ABS system was modified (this was not disclosed to us). My son purchased an extended warranty as well which is null and void because of the modifications. The dealership says it’s $12,000 to fix. We just purchased this vehicle for 26k and shift says oh well. No help out all. My son is paying a car that is sitting there and no help. Please don’t go.

I found a 2022 Toyota Corolla LE 4dr Sedan for $20,488 listed price so I contacted the dealership to see if it was available. Mark responded by text and said yes. I scheduled an appointment for the following morning, drove approximately 50miles to see the vehicle, only to be told it was already sold. Clearly, I was a bit upset because Mark had just texted me a few minutes prior to confirm my appointment and failed to mention anything about the car being sold, instead directed me to meet with Rodrigo Jr. to see the car. Upon arrival, Rodrigo immediately told me the car had just been sold, but that they had other vehicles they could show me. I advised him that I had a budget with a car in mind and that is why I drove out so far. Long story short, him and his father Rodrigo, sat my husband and I down and tried to sell me another car with all sorts of markup fees and add on fees that are not mandatory and against the FTC guidelines. I will never do business with this dealership. They are dishonest and unethical. I do not recommend. They do not honor online list prices. Once you show up, they try to sell you the car with add on fees to profit off of you.
