Dago was along for the test drive and didn't push the car, he just helped us test the car. Back at the dealership, Dago listened while ai explained that I had a Lexus hybrid lease due to end soon and was checking the market. I liked the camry hybrid and was surprised to see one available. My lexus dealer did not have any ES models available. Dago was extremely helpful, without seeming like the typical "car salesman" and explained how I could have Toyota buy out my Lexus lease and give me credit for the enhanced value of my Lexus on the used car market. Got to the dealer, took a test drive, then waited for the "numbers." They came back with a price that included $2,600 for a paint and upholstery protection product and $3,000 for a 'market adjustment.' They have adjusted the price 13 times since the car was listed, so they had plenty of opportunities to add in their 'market adjustment' here on Edmunds. Do not trust this dealer to work honestly with you.

After reviewing ad for one of their used car, i made an hour long trip to their Ogden location. Only to find out the features they mentioned in their ad, on their own website as well as other sites, didn’t exist in the car. Also car had scratches, color peeled off that they didn’t mention when I specifically inquired about it over the phone. Sales person wasn’t prepared, had to wait for keys, very unorganized. Best to avoid but in any case don’t trust anything you read or they tell you over phone.. No one expects cheap trickery from a luxury car dealer. They are not.

Came in inquiring about a used Toyota Prius. As usual, they encouraged me to make an appointment and assured me that the car would be pulled up and available when I arrived. Not only was it not pulled up, it was blocked in, and the 12V battery was dead. I said I would like to run a diagnostic on it, the sales person told me she was certain there was no issue with it. I said I was not comfortable having someone in the car with me for the test drive because I had to help take care of elderly relatives and I did not want to take any chances because of covid. Helena (the salesperson) told me that she had to come with me because I was not insured - so far they're the only dealership who had this requirement, and I feel it had more to do with giving her the opportunity to spend time selling the vehicle. Also, the car was close to empty on gas so we had to stop to get gas during the test drive. After getting gas, again the car would not start. Again, Helena assured me nothing was wrong. It was clear I knew more about the Prius than she did. I had only intended to test drive the car and was not going to make a decision that day as I was short on time. However they kept me there by making me believe they would provide some break on the price, but never offered anything more than throwing in remote start. Further to that, they tried to charge me an additional $2000 to "activate the certification" which was absolute BS since the car was already listed and priced as a Toyota Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and insisted this was what all Toyota dealers do. This was a lie. They also came up with many other lies about other dealerships and why their cars were priced low because the cars were bad, or that they weren't actually certified. My feeling was because I said that I could afford to pay cash, that I needed a car soon, and that I had no car to trade in that they thought they could take advantage of me to sell me a car for a higher price that probably had many problems. I'm really glad I called myself a Lyft and got myself out of there when I did. They have a nice and pretty showroom, but that's about it. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy.
