I had a Prius Prime for over 4 years and decided it was worth the attempt to go full electric. I am also an opportunistic shopper and the rebates on these were perfect for a lease.
I have done just over 900 miles in a month, I don’t use climate control much, some but not much. I have done highway speeds and a lot of city driving and find the battery efficiency to be way better than … advertised. I have the AWD model and it routinely shows 100% range is 244-246.
I charge it up whenever home, just regular wall outlet. And maybe have run it down to as low as 40% which could take almost two days to full charge. However, I don’t drive like that every day. I am averaging over 4 m/kwh.
As to the drive, it is snappy, way faster than the Prius. The dashboard layout and no glovebox which takes some getting used to.
I like the ride and it has a ton of room inside, again coming from a Prius Prime! I am tall, and my backseat passengers have plenty of room behind me.
Time will tell more, but one month in and 900 miles, I am beyond satisfied.
