Know this~ pre-sell, they'll be all smiles, folksy and full of assurances regarding their 'superior' customer service. Once you've picked your car and ready to sign, they'll present you with warranty options. I've always been leary of warranties, so I was hesitant when their Finance Manager started his pitch. He was good. He smiled, assured me of the stellar commitment to service and even provided me his personal cell number to call, should I ever have problems with service after the sell. Based on his appearence of sincerity, we bought the platinum warranty and the scheduled oil change maintenance plans. First issue was a malfunctioning radio. It never worked. It would sputter, hiss and crackle every time the truck was started, and I wasn't able to even turn it off. I took it in twice, leaving it for multiple days at a time, to get it fixed under warranty. It took eight months before they finally replaced the unit. I spent eight months constantly hassling with their service reps. Exhausted and frustrated with the total run-around, I called the Finance Manager that had been so assuring that he'd help me if I ever ran into problems. He blew me off both times, and he hung up on me the last time I called. Good ol' fashioned sleazy car sales tactics. Then, I took the truck in for routine oil change and muli-point inspection before taking the truck on a long road trip. Landers Toyota gave it a clean bill, noting only the airfilters needed replacing. Halfway thru my trip, the steering started making grinding noises. It turns out the power steering fluid was very low. Yet, just days before, they gave gave it a thumbs-up. Now, I have to wonder what else they missed? To be fair, I have managed to get responses from upper management, but only after hours of leaving voice mails, emails, etc. They all empathize and say all the right things, but again, no follow up or follow through. It feels like it's all been for show, a series of meaningless gestures that hasn't really addressed the problems at all. All I want is for them to provide the services that I've paid them for. Nothing more, nothing less. All of this started with me using the 'please and thank' approach. As time wore on without recourse or results, I had to escalate. This review is my last resort to have my problems addressed. Nothing else has worked. Buyer beware.

When I first spoke to a Sales Manager about buying a Mach-E he assured me that I would be able to buy one at sticker plus the standard addendum. Then when I came in to buy one, I was told that it would be impossible because third-party dealer locators were purchasing them for $4,000 above MSRP. A five-star experience would be one where people keep their word and where selling to a customer is more important than making extra money through a third-party service. On my original visit when I ordered a Mach-E through the dealership instead of going through the Ford website, there were issues getting the order in. To be honest, I’m still not sure the order was ever actually placed. I never received any confirmation from Ford like I was told to expect. A five-star experience would be one where the staff is knowledgeable about ordering a vehicle. When I asked about financing through the Ford Option Plan no one in the dealership knew anything about it. It’s something that Ford advertises on its website specifically for Mach-E and F-150 Lightning buyers and that it provides a rebate for using. A five-star experience would be one where the staff is knowledgeable about the different finance options available to customers. While in the finance office, there were several mistakes on my paperwork. Including the spelling of my first name which is the same as the first name of the finance manager. And then, the numbers on my purchase order were changed from what I agreed to. A five-star experience would have accurate finance paperwork and the numbers wouldn’t change. Upon taking delivery of the vehicle I just purchased, the battery was at the same level as when I took it for a test drive. A five-star experience would have charged the battery using a fast charger while I was in finance. When the finance manager realized there was rebate given that didn’t apply to my deal, he tried to get me to pay the difference. Even though it was the dealership’s mistake and even though I had already paid over MSRP. A five-star experience is one where the finance manager would have immediately eaten the cost as a gesture of goodwill. When I drove to the lot to re-sign the finance paperwork, the charging station was broken. Salespeople there told me that it has never worked. A five-star experience is one where the customer charging station works. After providing Ford with my honest feedback, I received a call from the Customer Relationship Manager wanting to know why the dealership received a poor score. When I explained first and foremost that it was because I had to pay above MSRP, she tried to tell me that it wasn’t a good reason and that the dealership was paying extra for hard to find cars which I know to be a flat out lie. A five-star experience is one where the CRM is genuinely concerned about improving the customer experience. Finally, the CRM said she’d be talking to the General Manager and getting back with me today. Unsurprisingly, I didn’t receive a call from anyone at the dealership. A five-star experience is one where people keep their word.

My experience with Crain Kia of Sherwood was unfortunately disappointing from start to finish. On Wednesday June 17th my father and I visited Crain Kia’s sister company Crain Hyundai of North Little Rock in search of a particular used vehicle listed online. When we got there, we were told that the vehicle had already sold. On Friday June 19th, I discovered that the same vehicle was listed on Crain Kia’s website for a higher price. My father contacted an internet salesperson who gave the impression of contacting the manager and confirming its availability. They discussed my trade-in and scheduled a time to come in that evening to hopefully work out a deal. The minute we arrived on the lot, my father received a text message informing him that the particular vehicle we were interested in had sold and they would like to show us others (images of text messages attach). We immediately asked to speak to the manager suspecting that we were victims of the “bait and switch” tactic. The manager we spoke to claimed that it was a miscommunication caused by a faulty dealer website. We were told that this was a common issue and likely wouldn’t be the last time. He also informed us that the vehicle had in fact been sold May 27th, nearly one month earlier. Whether an intentional deception or purely a mistake, the manager gave the impression of attempting to shirk responsibility and his demeanor was only mildly apologetic. We drove off the lot that evening equal parts livid and disappointed to have not made a purchase. Even if this wasn’t an intentional deception, we learned a few things about the dealership through that interaction: 1) Don’t trust the online listings even if you confirm availability. Request to see a time-stamped photo of the vehicle before wasting your time. 2)Management may not offer proper training to salespeople, particularly in regard to confirming inventory. I can fully appreciate that this may not have been the fault of the salesperson in particular (who I was informed had only been working for 3 days), but I expect the managerial staff to be candid about such issues with employees. 3)Management doesn’t take kindly to complaints from customers and has an unapologetic and even abrasive attitude. My father was heated at the start of our conversation and used inappropriate language that may have caused a tense environment, but we later apologized and tried to have a civil discussion of our complaints. In any case, what happened to the old adage “the customer is always right”? I got the impression that the dealership didn’t really care about our business. 4) Although this may be trivial to some, I was also disappointed to find that all the salesmen I interacted with in person only offered to shake my father’s hand (I’m a woman in her late 20s).

Went there to look at this Tahoe, willing to offer full price ticket. An employee (so called manager) had the keys and we couldn’t even look at it because he was insistent on buying it himself. The salesman helping us tried but Sergio (the manager) said he was buying it. Salesman said he is buying it to up the price quite a bit and resale it. Customers can’t even get a good deal anymore because employees get this opportunities to hold the sale and buy themselves to resale. Awful experience.

We really wanted to give them business. We went several days, and worked with the guy named Nick, who was simply supposed to assist with test drive etc. First we wanted grand Cherokee wk 2022 limited, we wanted to put down 1000$ to reserve an “in-transit” vehicle, but we couldn’t. Apparently none of the managers sitting the back office wanted even to come out and say hello to us even the second day of our visit (or even third day of our visit, yes we really wanted to give them business). Nick went back and forth and came back and said “ no we can not take 1000$ to reserve the in transit vehicle as our GM has left” and btw it was 430 pm only. We are happy that we didn’t reserve it, cuz next day we wanted to actually get Wagoneer series 2. So we went back to Superior and we called ahead of time, we really hoped that at least now the “great honorable ‘ management of superior would want to sit down with us. But no, they will not come out of their office, and would not even say hello. Yes either they are bigger than us or they just like to hate us. Nick however was good, but then again back and forth , cuz Nick didn’t have any authority. So finally Nick came back and apparently his manager named “Courtney Guy” told him to tell us that we would have to pay $5000 on top of MSRP. We left with sad face, went to the other dealership the same day, got the 2022 brand new Wagoneer series 2 for less than MSRP. I really hope Superior Jeep of Conway,AR reads this and do something about it. We would still like to work with the Conway community.

In his own words to Arkansas Business, “I do what I can to please the customer to achieve 100 percent customer satisfaction.
