Bought a 2003 Toyota Highlander back in March of 2019. After leaving the dealership that day I noticed there to be a violent shake around 55 to 75 mph. I took it in to my local shop and they said my whole drive shaft needed to be replaced I went to the Toyota dealership for a second opinion they said the same thing the guy at my local shop said I needed a whole drive shaft I ended having it done. For the cost more than the car was worth! I was angry for the fact Shores Auto told me the car was checked out before it was on the lot. Soon after that I noticed the car to be lower in the back and making clunks brought it in again needed new struts all around. Had those done...Then I also started to notice the car was drinking oil over a quart between 2500 miles and more and more problems went on and on! I dug into the service history of this car deeper and found out the car was at Rudy Luther Toyota for a Vibration and it said “customer reported shaking tech found in need of new propeller shaft”. Later on in October of 2019 the car had a check engine light on for a need of a new knock sensor and I was just going to drive the car until it quit. Well I did... The highlander went into protection mode and it was done. The car was no longer worth spending money on have not had the car for 1 year or drove it in snow! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I would not even give them 1 star!
