Went to see a Lexus IS 300 that was advertised on Carfax for 20,890. I called the dealership in advance to see if they still had the car on the lot and if it was still advertised for the price shown online. I was assured by the secretary that it was. When I got to the dealship I noticed the window sticker had 30,890 advertised. Shortly after, a middle aged gentleman Mike introduced himself and said that the price online was only available for those financing the car and then took me inside and proceeded to run the numbers for the total cost of the car. I came ready to buy the car cash and he told me I couldn't. Five mins later he came back with a price of almost 27,000 dollars before taxes and dealership fees!! He said that they send the car out to Lexus to get pre owned certified and add bunch of warranty extras that the car didn't need, as it was still under the manufacturer warranty. He said they would not sell the car without the additional warranty and cert by Lexus. The sales associate became argumentative and rude and told me "if I advertised the actual price of the car I wouldn't get customers". I was so turned off I stood up to leave and asked to take the paper with my personal information on it. He grabbed the paper from my hands and told me "don't touch my paper that's my paper" I made him shred the document before leaving. DO NOT SHOP HERE. You will get ripped off and everything about this place is a bait and switch SCAM. I looked up the auto check for another Lexus that they had on their lot and it came back with a red flag that the odometer had been rolled back from 57,000 miles to 35,000. Shop here at your own risk, seriously.
