Just bought a "36,000-mile" Jaguar XJ Portfolio from Jackie Cooper Imports, paid a premium price, went to get an oil change at my Jaguar dealer, and got a report https://c.xtime.com/gRq3ScXobgAA2BvgXX for $4000.00 of rotten parts on this car with immediate attention in red. Caveat Emptor! The CarFax says Jackie Cooper did an inspection and an alignment before they offered it for sale. No such this was ever done.

Needless to say after a long drive and my wife were disappointed. Sale manager took the car for a week without coordination so it was not available. Salesman tried to make a deal starting with an inflated sales price, a lot funny numbers especially with dealer fees (called hidden profit). Be aware that FL has no regulation on maximun fees and this dealership is the highest in Fl.. Shop elsewhere, you will save dollars.

Sales Associate Mike Jackson did a great job from beginning to end. He treated us well and felt very trustworthy. Any time I brought up a concern about the vehicle we were looking at, he took those concerns seriously and did his own research to give us the answers we needed. I'd be happy to work with him again on my next purchase. I didn't peruse much of the rest of the dealership so I can't speak on the overall experience of Mercedes-Benz at Fort Washington, but it seemed like a great place to do your business. There wasn't much negotiation or bargaining to be had, but I think that was more a product of the current demand for used vehicles in this market and less about Mercedes-Benz Fort Washington being unwilling to meet my demands. I will say that our vehicle was priced below every other listing I found for that year, make, model and miles. If I talked them any lower than what they were asking, I might've felt guilty.
