2025 Mazda CX-50
The good: hybrid getting 39 plus mpg overall. Nice red/black seats. Good looking from front, blah from the back. Corners well. The bad: deafening road noise on highway.
We measured at 80 to 85 dcb which is equivalent to a manuf.factory floor. You feel every bump /rut. Steering very heavy. Exhausted after a 45 min. drive. Confusing media tech interface. Very hollow, tinny feel to doors … when closing. Will be trading in for a Lexus nx350h.
Mileage up to 41.3 after 2500 miles. In shop once for a recall on the hybrid system software. Still very noisy on the interstate, but drives more quietly on smooth roads at 45mph. Definitely test drive on a highway if a quiet cabin is an important feature to you.
