I had inquired about a car on a Monday, to talk with a Sales Manager about coming to look at a vehicle. They're 3hrs away from me so I had questions to ask and wanted to make sure I wasn't wasting anyone's time. I couldn't get through to anyone on the sales team after a few attempts, but I went through to schedule an appointment anyway. My appointment was confirmed and I planned to check the car out that following Saturday. Some time Friday, the day before my appointment that I had scheduled almost a week before, they swiftly changed the price of the car I was coming to see to $8,000 higher. What could cause a vehicles price to jump 8k, after being listed for more than a week at the lower price? I called to double check why they changed the price and reminded them about my appointment/what the previous price was and they now told me that the car was SOLD, and was told that it being sold was the reason it was listed that way. I didnt believe it since it obviously didn't make sense, so I called and made a new inquiry and was now told that the car was in fact available... Also, that my appointment was canceled even though I never attempted to cancel myself. I requested to speak to a sales manager again, and was told by a worker that they were busy (as they always were), and the store was about to close. The whole week long process was hard to deal with and at that point I still hadn't even made it to the store yet. I can't imagine actually having to purchase a vehicle with a company that handles business this way.

As soon as I mentioned the car, the salesperson mentioned that the car was "driven by someone in the hood" and "failed their inspection". He continued on by bringing me to a car that was $12k over the price range I was looking for. The salesperson gave me the price of $28k for the car and insisted it was a steal because of the low mileage. Fast forward, I left the dealership and gave it all some thought. As I reflected, I noticed that I had the carfax of the original car I inquired about which was 100% clean. I called the dealership back and they told me that the car was sold in the morning before I reached there. The person on the phone mentioned a similar model listed for 25k. Turns out, it was the same car that the salesperson tried to sell me for 28k. All in all, don't waste time going here, very unprofessional.
