2025 Lexus RX
I owned a NX 300h for 5 years before I purchased my RX 350h Premium+ in July, unfortunately it has turned out to be the worst car I ever owned.
Issues:
Audio + Carplay cut in and out about 50% of my drives even if the phone is plugged in or listening to the radio (NOT a cell phone service issue)
Multiple settings show "turned off" in the infotainment screen but still happen
Adaptive … cruise control stopped working at 80 on the interstate, but cruise stayed on
Lane keep is atrocious and frequently tried to steer me off the road into turn lanes
I live in NW Montana and during our first snow a week ago the sensors had a melt down when exposed to snow. The parking sensors started by going off but instead of popping up and staying on, it threw the warning + multiple other warnings continuously for 6 miles until I got home. Every second a new notification flashed on the screen and HUD. Also beeping and flashing.
Trunk close and lock button works 10% of the time even when I try to hold the key up to it like the service department says.
Lexus has told me this is all "by design" and I should just turn off all the sensors and tech on the car in the winter?
Do not buy this car if you live anywhere that it snows!
