when we arrived for a scheduled test drive, my wife and i were never asked about what we wanted nor were we even given the standard vehicle walk-around. we were just sent on our own to test drive the car and when we returned to the dealership, there was no actual conversation. just had papers shoved at us, "this is how much we want you to pay." when we questioned the price, the response was, "well, what do you think you're gonna get?" the aggression, thickly coated in sneering condescension, was too much. they may have the inventory, but they seem to treat people like trash. drive the extra 20 minutes and go to puente hills mazda instead. we got the same car - '21 cx-5 carbon edition turbo/awd/black interior - at a lower price and a MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE car buying experience. really hard to believe they both sell the same cars, but in such stark contrast, from a customer service point of view. mazda of orange sucks. and since i'm here, don't go to browning mazda in cerritos, either. unless you're a fan of the old bait-and-switch and really need to see it in action. was reviewing one dealership and did three instead. sorry. by the way, this carbon is my 3rd mazda. had a miata and currently own a 2. zoom zoom, baby.

Less than 2wks later. He calls me back and says he has the color I was interested in and most of the packages that I was looking for in the car. He was with me through the whole proccess from beginning to the end. From trading in my Mazda to driving off in my new Lexus. on 09/18/2023 we found a car for sale through Edmunds.com for $39,991.00. We liked the car after test drive and agreed to purchase for the asking price. But in the paper work they this added "Other F&I Products - $995" (which was not in the original listing). We asked the agent to explain this item and she said all of their has this item. My question why it was not shown in Edmunds.com listing. I am very upset and want to put this review for future buyers to be aware of this. I could give this dealership a 0 then I would.  Only reason I would give it a 1 would be because of the awesome sales rep Jayson. Came from an hour and a half away to see a vehicle, we were assisted by the sales rep Jayson who was very professional and helpful. Decided to purchase the vehicle, got the out the door pricing, let them know that I already secured the financing thru my own bank. Had to leave due to a work meeting and spoke to one of the reps in financing and he advised that I could start the paperwork process and it would be ready by the time I would return in the evening to speed it up. Then that's when the nightmare started. When I returned in the evening (after driving an hour and a half again!) The process was supposed to resume. They requested a copy of my insurance information to make sure I had full coverage. However this time, instead of working with the same person in financing who was there earlier in the afternoon, we were met by the sales manager Lucas (who by the way gave me his card so that in his words I could "spell it right") Lucas then began to give us his explanation about how we could not drive away with the car because they needed to wait until their bank completely cleared the cashiers check from my bank and that they always do it this way. Uum as if this is my first time buying a car? I know that's a straight lie! Mind you, the car I was going to purchase was already considered used because the person it was originally sold to couldn't follow thru with the loan and had to return it after a few days and 500 miles later. (And that came directly from financing when they explained why the car was selling for the price it was.) When I said this, Lucas rudely said "well you were lied to!" Wow so now apart from being rude and unprofessional, you also want to put in question the integrity of not one but 2 of your coworkers including the financing reps?Doesn't give a good look to this dealership at all. He then proceeded to tell us that we didn't have to purchase from them. Well you are absolutely right about that! Do not waste your time even if you are local to this dealership because in Lucas' own words you don't need to purchase from them. Take your business elsewhere unless you are okay with wasting hours at a dealership who clearly doesn't want to sell a vehicle.
