    Dealer Review:

I wish I had read the reviews on the dealership before I purchased here. Romeo was very personable and there was definitely no pressure however I found Romeo to be dishonest and I paid over $2500 more than the KBB value of my car because the vehicle was not as presented. First of all I paid cash for my vehicle. Romeo disclosed that the check engine light had faults for the intake runners and showed me the code. Told me the sensors were bad but were part of the intake manifold and that there was no way to replace the sensors without replacing the intake manifold. He told me the rest of the car was working fine. The tires on back were bald and he told me he would put on two new tires. The carbon fiber trim on the interior was coming off and he told me his guys would glue the pieces back on. Before he delivered my car to me with the new tires, Romeo left for lunch while I waited another hour for my car. 1) The trim was not glued properly and came undone within a day and cut me as well as leaving carbon fiber splinters in my arm 2) The new tires were not new at all but tires that had 50% wear. I had 4 different model of tires on the car. 3) I washed the car the next day. The temporary paint fixes washed completely away and the true condition of the pain was revealed. The hood was covered in chips, there were scratched all over the car and the finish was dull. In addition there were several areas over the hood and the left fender that reflected body work. 4) The headlight washer door mysteriously popped off the day I purchased the car. 5) I discovered the passenger door lock didn’t work with the remote and the driver door lock button did not work at all. The cigarette lighter and all of the 12 volts outputs were non function. There was a fault on the one and only key so that keyless ignition didn’t work 6) The battery needed to be replaced. 7) Within 5 days I received vehicle errors showing faults with the parking brake, faults for the suspension system and faults on the tire pressure monitoring system. 8) Romeo lied about the intake manifold faults. Sensors can be replaced but the reason the sensors were throwing errors is because the intake manifold had been replaced with a part that did not use the sensors so the sensors were not plugged into anything. I wrote Romeo regarding these issues. It was impossible that all of the above items just went bad the week after I purchased the car. Romeo had the car for 4 months before I purchased it and it was obvious that they had covered over the many issues with the car. I easily paid $2500 over the Kelly blue book value of the car because Romeo deceitfully covered hid the problems of the vehicle. I had asked Romeo to pay $500 to help to offset the $5000+ I repairs (I’ve paid $2200 so far) but he has refused to answer. If you purchase a car from Romeo 1) pay for the cancel option 2) check the car see that door locks, windows etc all work and take to a mechnic and 3) was the car immediately. Romeo is not honest so you have to protect yourself.

    Dealer Review:

Knew that I wanted the Lexus 500, but the color I wanted wasn't available within a 500 mile radius. The sales associate, Trevor Castle, suggested a few other colors and took me to the lot to show me the color "Caviar" and that was a great choice. Mr. Castle didn't try and oversell me on anything and was very patient with me when showing me the many electronic functions of the car. He suggested I call him and come in when I needed assistance and I'm sure that I will do so. Very pleasant experience.

This is my second GS (the 1st was a '98 400). I never thought I would own two of the same type of vehicle, but I made any exception. Just when you thought the 400 didn';t need improvement, Lexus tweaked the tourque and the car SCREAMS!! Quicker, but I still me the gimmicky E-shift. You can keep the hard riding 540 and MB430..this is nicer to drive and more comfortable (and that's from people who have ridden in this car and own a 540 and MB430).
