On my first road trip I got a check engine warning which the out of town dealer service center couldn't diagnose but thought it was okay to drive back home and later there was some sort of flushing the system that corporate KIA told the dealer to do. About 8 months later on a road trip I lose power and have to pull over on a busy freeway 20 miles from the nearest town but near an exit. … KIA roadside assist was unable to locate me and kept insisting my location was hundreds of miles away and couldn't look up the address of the actual nearest dealer. The dealer is now telling me that a rock flew through the grill and damaged the radiator for the hybrid motor and admitted that there is a serious design flaw because if rocks don't hit the radiator, they hit the AC condenser. The tow truck operator told me he tows more Hyundais and Kias than any other make. The interior is nice feeling, but there is about a two minute lag on the infotainment touchscreen after about 30 minutes of driving.
