I showed up ready to negotiate to purchase the car. Before they even show you the car they want your credit card. I spent 20 mins answering stupid questions before they even showed me the car. Then they wouldn't let me drive it, but wanted to sit down and talk numbers. I said I'm not talking numbers without driving the car. The number they gave me was $4000 more than the advertised price. Calling it Dealer prep or some nonsense. When told them I was a cash buyer they wanted to tack on another $1000 for not financing through them. I walked out, went to another dearlership and bought another car two days later sold by professional car salesman with no bullcrap. Horrible place Stay away. Sales and support staff not wearing mask either During Covid!

Had an appointment with Jesse who set me up with Paul Paik. This is my second time dealing with him. Both times, he didn't offer me a seat to have a talk possibly in making a deal. He was just arrogant as the first time who said to take it or leave it, and the second visit was just the same. He said they have $5,000 mark up and won't come down. I heard of his reputation for ripping off his own people, but I didn't believe it until I met him. He didn't even go on a test drive on a first visit with me rather handed me the keys to drive alone. When I visited the Liberty Hyundai, the sales man was courteous enough to prepare the temporary tag and things needed for the test drive, Paul didn't even offer that. As I have stated, I am a repeat buyer who last bought two vehicles from your dealer in 2007 Sonata and Santa Fe. I was looking at Santa Fe first with the plan to buy another Sonata following the purchase of Santa Fe. In addition, my kids are coming of age where they will soon need a car for themselves. I have already stated this in your dealership's inquiry. Thanks for the great deal and experience. Although losing one customer wouldn't matter to you as you have buyers lined according to Paul, I will not be going back to your dealership. I don't know about you, but the car buying is stressful enough already. It all made worse with the shortage of inventory, but I didn't need to deal with that kind of arrogant attitude. I will never set my foot in that door again.

I had inquired about a car on a Monday, to talk with a Sales Manager about coming to look at a vehicle. They're 3hrs away from me so I had questions to ask and wanted to make sure I wasn't wasting anyone's time. I couldn't get through to anyone on the sales team after a few attempts, but I went through to schedule an appointment anyway. My appointment was confirmed and I planned to check the car out that following Saturday. Some time Friday, the day before my appointment that I had scheduled almost a week before, they swiftly changed the price of the car I was coming to see to $8,000 higher. What could cause a vehicles price to jump 8k, after being listed for more than a week at the lower price? I called to double check why they changed the price and reminded them about my appointment/what the previous price was and they now told me that the car was SOLD, and was told that it being sold was the reason it was listed that way. I didnt believe it since it obviously didn't make sense, so I called and made a new inquiry and was now told that the car was in fact available... Also, that my appointment was canceled even though I never attempted to cancel myself. I requested to speak to a sales manager again, and was told by a worker that they were busy (as they always were), and the store was about to close. The whole week long process was hard to deal with and at that point I still hadn't even made it to the store yet. I can't imagine actually having to purchase a vehicle with a company that handles business this way.
