I leased my Grand Cherokee L Limited in late October because I needed a bigger family car with our new baby. There are more things that I dislike about the vehicle than the things I like and unfortunately I found these out afterwards. First off the heating and air conditioning system is terrible. On the lowest possible setting the fan sounds like a jet engine. Obnoxiously loud. Second … the multimedia system has a mind of its own and it is schizophrenic. Somehow it never pics up my phone for music when I’m driving alone. If I’m in the car with my wife it will pick up her calls and my music and vice versa depending on the mood the car is in. More importantly and what pissed me off the most is that if you have a rear facing baby seat your front passenger will have to ride with their knees in their face because you will have to move the front seat so far forward even after moving the middle seats as far back as possible. Jeep could have also put Qi charging capability in a limited model. This is a cheap technology and should be standard but what do I know. I’ve only been selling cars 20 years. Air conditioned seats would be nice as well for $52k. Other than that the car looks great and drives like a Jeep should. Kind of a gas guzzler but if you can afford the whiskey well you can afford the ice as well.
