I found a car through Autotrader from here I was interested in. Contacted them on the car from out of state. The sales person Tara was amazing through the deal! Very attentive, very transparent! The entire pleasant experience went crashing down when I put in my app for financing, i specifically asked them to not put a ludicrous amount of inquiries on my credit. It’s the finance managers duty to understand each persons credit needs and match to class of lenders. It is obviously part of finance’s sole duty! Instead THEY PUT “11” inquiries on my report with in MINUTES and then try to quote me on a 11.5% interest. LMFAO! There is absolutely no need for this if you’re doing your job correctly! When I confronted them the finance manager was condescending and rude as if I didn’t know what I’m talking about or know anything when I know exactly where my credit rating stands they current of interest rate rage should be. They wanted to play the “what do your want your payment to be” game with some one who was in the car business for 10 years and my whole career was/is based on deal negotiation on a daily basis. They are stuck in the 90s with their finance process (predators) trying to make money by ripping people off in the “back end”. So do yourself a favor DO NOT use them unless you have bad credit and desperate. Get your own financing or don’t buy from them.
