I bought a brand new Palisade here in July. We were basically pressure sold the extended mileage warranty by “The” Sales Manager Justin Helmick. He assured us that EVERYTHING is covered for 10 years/100,000 miles. Fast forward to end of August, we have less than 2,000 miles on it. The windshield wipers all the sudden no longer go down all the way and stick up when they are idle. So I take it in to get looked at, and the service guy tells me I have to sign to agree to pay a $135 diagnostics fee. I explain that we got the extended warranty on it. He then goes on to explain that I have to agree to pay for it in the event something happened that isn’t covered by the warranty. I ask to speak to the manager, and I am then greeted by the General Sales Manager Rod Khasawneh. He tells me that it shouldn’t be an issue, however, I have to sign to agree to pay for that. Rod then tells me the service department will not look at the vehicle if I do not sign to agree to that. Unbelievable! Clearly the extended warranty doesn’t cover EVERYTHING like Justin promised.

My experience at Christopher's Dodge Ram World. i was trying to buy a car and negotiated the price with the sales man but it looks like they price their cars very high so it looks like they offered you a great deal lowering the price by $4000 makes it seems like a great deal!! remember the 4000 discount was their profit so If you did not ask to lower the price they would have made a lot of money out of that sale. also they always have guaranteed profit of $699 which they call it dealer handing fees. so you did good but do your homework even after $4000 discount the car is not worth that much in kbb. Also see the trade in value in kbb to get an idea how much they bought it for. and pay attention to the pictures they take. they try to hide any damaged area which makes the car looks clean and great on pictures and they do not write anything about it in the description, because they want you to come in person so they can tell you that is why we are giving you discount. i wish they are just upfront and show the damages on the pictures. if you want to buy a car from them i would advise you to wait 30-60 or even 90 days and they will change their advertised price to much lower price. Then you can negotiate lower ( the longer the car is posted for sale the better deal you will get ).remember you are looking for the lowest price and you can go to any dealer to buy a car vs the the sales man looking for the highest profit=the higher sale price+higher commission
