Dealer Review:

Has anyone spit in your face before? That is exactly how I felt after Dustin Scales, perhaps now previous employee, at Enterprise treated me at 1108 E. Division St. Arlington, Texas. I was contacted by this man’s team to sell my car to them. I first went to get my car appraised on a Wednesday. The following Friday, this man, DUSTIN SCALES, SNEERINGLY broke his company’s word to me on my car, providing not $9,700, but $7,100 for my vehicle. It was a bait and switch tactic. Upon my developing interest in one of his other cars, Dustin Scales then tried to cheat me on the value of my car. Dustin Scales broke his employee’s word to me about providing $9,700 for my car, and this was all because I went almost 2 days past the 7 day sell-period (a term that I was never told about to begin with). I was SCAMMED and I was DISRESPECTED. Enterprise has LOST my trust, and I will NEVER go back -and in terms of LOST BUSINESS, this company IS GOING TO MISS OUT ON FURTHER BUSINESS for their EVIL WAYS. I WILL NOT REFER Enterprise to ANY of my business colleagues who spend roughly $5,000 ANNUALLY on rental car services. This may easily make up $100,000 over the course of 3 years. AVOID ENTERPRISE. AVOID JOHN LYERS, who absolutely befuddled me with his and his team’s deception. Don’t rent from this company. Don’t buy from this company. It is CORRUPT.

Firstly, I've never written a compliant like this before. So, for those that dismiss bad reviews because "some people are just complainers", you'll soon discover. On to the review - Just Beware! If you're a long time internet buyer like me, stay away. After having a delightful conversation with the "internet person" about a fair price (mutually agreed) for a used vehicle and encouragement to drive 50+ miles, whole thing went down hill. Was passed off to a "salesman". He was a really nice guy and I don't fault him. Needless to say, besides the nice sales guy, the whole thing was the joke. The CPO car was anything BUT CPO standards. No detailing, lots of mods on the SUV (a jeep). Ripped out carpet that wasn't fixed. Aftermarket lighting kit that had obviously been removed (switches but no lights, holes in bumper, other lights that didn't work). Fluids were low (or gone). Random screws were in the cup holders. Given the vehicle was hardly at CPO standards, I downwardly altered my offer (from the earlier discussions - which BTW, we never saw the "internet" person again). Of course, then comes the 4 box game (I was a cash buyer). Then they come back with base selling price of the vehicle higher than what I'd spoken to the internet person about. And here's where it really gets good. On top of the higher than expected base price, they add ~$2,500 on top. If they think for a minute, adding ~10% to the price of a vehicle BEFORE tax is honest, than I'd hate to see dishonestly. I get that dealers are still playing games with used cars, but the whole thing was just a joke. I WOULD NEVER SHOP HERE!!
