Dealer Review:

Went to look at a vehicle that was verified by e-mail to be on the lot. Arrived after about a 50 minute drive to look a the Honda CR-V. We walked around the lots for about 20 minutes and could not locate the Honda CR-V on the listing. Some girl came out and asked if she could help. We showed her a picture of the Honda CR-V and she stated she would find the vehicle. We watch this girl go all over the lots for about another 20 minutes just pushing the unlock button on the remote. She stated she was not a sales rep and was going to go get one. Well about another 20 minutes went by and she did not return. We saw the girl going into the dealership with a different person. That was the end of this wasted trip. We let the lot and never looked back. The Koons GM Corner dealership acted liked they did not care about selling a vehicle. Poor customer service and not worth the terrible experience.

So working on my deal for a used truck, we played the game of back and forth on the price. My final offer was $1,145.00 less than there offer. They were throwing in a $2000.00 extra warranty I was told. I responded by saying I didn't want the warranty just give me the deal I wanted. They came back with dropping the price by $145.00, still $1000.00 over my offer and they took the $2000.00 warranty out of the offer. So I guess the $2000.00 warranty was really only worth $145.00. Very disappointing in the way that they must seem to think people are stupid.

I was shopping for the solar octane 4 Runner. I checked with a lot of dealerships… see bottom of review. A prompt email from Saeed Wehelie at Koons Arlington Toyota after making an inquiry on line. I had a 1 owner FJ that I was looking to possibly trade. I told Saeed I wasn’t in a hurry but would purchase 4Runner if it was the right deal. We did all the negotiating via text. I think that we both came out feeling good about deal… the way it should be. I put a 3K deposit on the one they had on order , never having set foot in the dealership. My husband was worried that we would drive an hour and they would change the deal in person . I reassured him that I felt very confident in the dealership (gut feeling) and my interaction. The deal was just as expected… it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. We drove up in my yellow FJ and drove back in my Solar Octane 4Runner. They were professional, polite, attentive and I could not recommend Saeed enough. Others should learn from them. I know this is a long review.. sorry.. but given there is a shortage of many vehicles I was amazed at the number of dealerships that acted like they didn’t care if they got my business or not. Even though I had a car to trade in … giving them more inventory. If I had not found Saeed I would have been more than happy to keep driving my FJ. My local dealership ( where I bought my fj 16 years ago) offered to order one for me a week earlier… when I started looking for a possible new car …but I was very turned off by their laughing at how much they were going to charge me above Msrp. The Sales manager didn’t act like they cared or really wanted my business .. just my gut feeling. They Felt had hot item and just acted like I shouldn’t question and I was wasting their time. Nope! Another Toyota dealership in midlothian had the car but, not sure if it was because I was a woman, but salesmen spoke over me repeatedly and inferred I was stupid. Told me it wasn’t the same car as the one I was looking at in Nova because it wasn’t from priority Toyota w/ their backing. He was so belittling I should have hung up on him. Have told everyone I know how Rude and NOT TO DEAL WITH THEM. So definitely not them. I HAVE told ALL my friends and family that the drive is more than worthwhile to be treated right. I have always found and negotiated all of my immediate family’s cars. Will be the first place I look when helping my family shop in future. Both kids soon due for new vehicles. There are still salesmen and dealerships that get word of mouth and service is important. Thank you! Nicole PS .. We purchased our first car in May 2021. We were happy with the vehicle until we called in to check on the registration and title work. Multiple promises of a call right back and four different guarantees of a date everything would arrive, we did our own investigating only after we were pulled over by law enforcement to find out we have a dead tag. The DMV of NC told me directly that Enterprise was in breach of contract due to error in the paperwork from Enterprise. I was told to go back to Enterprise and have them contact the DMV of Gastonia-Eastridge Mall. When I arrived back at Enterprise, the manager on duty did not want to hear or see the information from the DMV and assured me the DMV was wrong. Once again, they promised me everything was handled and would arrive within the week. It’s hard to love our very first car anymore after receiving the customer service we have after the fact. We are still waiting on the paperwork for the car and unfortunately trying to decide if we should take legal action against Enterprise Car Sales - Gastonia.
