$3000 worth of dealer add ons on a pre-owned. I told them i wanted to buy that day and from a local dealer. They have me looking at OC and LA, so far those Mazda dealerships have been 100% transparent. Stay away from Mazda of Fontana. I still have other Mazda following up with me. Fontana of Mazda got called out and not once have called to earn my business. I feel bad for anyone who is intimidated by the car buying process and those who are not educated or informed. So we went to this dealer to purchase a $19000 car and I have to say this place is a unprofessional joke!!! They advertise one price then try to add 3000 in crap fees on top of the cost of 19000!!! So this is the deal they tried to con us with 1500 down, 344 a month for 72 months at 5%. This unbelievable crap deal with two buyers on the loan with credit scores 700 and 800!!! Dealer Review:
Purchased 2021 vehicle July 7th, 2 weeks later notice chips of paint on the ground and around the windshield area. Checked the vehicle carefully found previous damage to bottom driver side door which looks like someone tried to repair it, paint coming off bumper, hood, door, dent in the roof. Made an appointment to bring vehicle in, couldn't get in until August 3rd. They have sent the vehicle in 3 times to Caliber Collision and have not gotten it fixed came back again from Caliber Collision on Aug 25 with new damage or further erosion of the vehicle so it will need to be sent back 4th time. It is sitting on their lot still and Service Manager Dan Feldman's answer to what is going on with it is "I don't know " GM Sam Labib has never returned my calls or emails. Sales Manager Dominic Montes offered to take the vehicle back then said he couldn't then offered and agreed to make my payments until this is resolved and recently called me and said he couldn't. Told my to go file a case with Hyundai. Hope i can add pictures they tell the whole story

This is the second vehicle I purchase from STG and the experience went hassle free like before. I was helped out by Daniel Rodas both times and he’s as professional as he is respectful and courteous. Daniel wasn’t pushy at all and made sure to get me the best deal possible. Of course there was a bit of back and forth to try and get the best deal but everything went fairly smooth. The sales manager Campos was willing to help us out and made sure that we left satisfied. So far I’ve had nothing but great experiences dealing with STG and Daniel which I highly recommend. Dealer Review:
Their dealership has the “one simple price” philosophy for their used vehicles…what you see is what you get. No frills, no push for extras (like lo-jack for example). This also means no bargaining…at all. Let me explain. I am currently searching for a 2017 Lexus ct200h, F Sport, with navigation. It’s currently June of 2021…tail end of the COVID pandemic (hopefully). Used car prices are going up. That’s fine, I’m ok with that. Prices for everything are going up. People are driving more. Demand for vehicles is high, used or new. So this dealership had the car I was looking for. Very low mileage (20,xxx miles), all the options, clean interior, new tires…awesome. Test drove the car, felt great. Parked the car and started looking closer. Saw that all 4 rims were badly curbed, and the resurfacing job was really poor. Overspray, rough final finish, pitted, color mismatched…just bad. I pointed it out, and said, “has this car been in an accident?” I was assured that it had not been in an accident, and it had a clean carfax. Warning flag number one. I moved further on in my parking lot inspection. This car was black, so paint imperfections just jump right out. That’s when I noticed the passenger front quarter panel had paint tape marks and the new paint did not match the stock Lexus paint. And the front bumper had scuff marks like it had bumped into a wall of some sort. Warning flag number two. Now I understand, used cars are going to have some road battle damage. I get it, it’s a used car. But don’t tell me that the car is flawless and has a clean carfax when I can clearly see it has had body damage. How bad was it befoe? I don’t know, I couldn’t say. All I can tell you is that it was in some type of accident, the original owner most likely paid for it out of pocket, the rebuild work was just ok (for most people), and the dealership made it seem like the car was perfect. Here’s the problem. When I pointed out all the issues, and said is the “one simple price” the actual final price, what was the response? Yep, that’s final. No bargaining. When they realized I knew it had been in an accident of some sort, they said “we want to be up front and honest with you, here is the original purchase that we made from the customer who sold us this car. We had an appraiser look at it and he noted damage to the areas that you noted. Yes it has been in accident, you are right.” ‘Ok, but is that the final price? Yep, that’s it.” For those that are reading this, here is the condensed version. You don’t always get what you pay for, especially on used cars. Have an outside mechanic that you trust and is not affiliated with the dealership look the used car over. Because this dealership will not negotiate on a used car that has been in an accident and poorly repaired. The one final price means you don’t get to bargain…at all. And I saw the original used purchase price when they bought the car from the original owner…if I had bought that car, they were looking to make $6000 in profit. One final price…many other dealerships to search in California. Don’t waste your time.

To Whom it may concern: I want to let you know how hugely disappointed I am with your company. I found a Jeep for $19,975, made an appointment to see it and drove 6 hours one way to get there. Once I got there and drove the Jeep I wanted to purchase it. To make a long story short there was an addition of $11,000 dollars for "dealer additions". This is clearly false advertisement. I realize you have a disclaimer but no where in your ad does it specify what the dealer additions are or what the amount of them are. You wait until the person gets there to spring it on them. Totally [non-permissible content removed] way of doing business. I can't do much but I will be filing complaints with all institutions I can plus writing reviews to warn people about your company's false advertising practices. I will also be contacting Mitsubishi so they know how you conduct your company which has their name on it. Really, really can't believe you operate like this. It's not like the customer won't find out about the addition cost added on to the bogus sales price. I hope that I can save someone else the time and disappointment you cause, or at least keep some business from you in some fashion. I have time on my hands and have other ways of getting even. You won't even know how much time I make your staff waste chasing false customers and leads. I promise you will regret it just like I regret going there to make a honest purchase. Richard Bell

$3000 worth of dealer add ons on a pre-owned. I told them i wanted to buy that day and from a local dealer. They have me looking at OC and LA, so far those Mazda dealerships have been 100% transparent. Stay away from Mazda of Fontana. I still have other Mazda following up with me. Fontana of Mazda got called out and not once have called to earn my business. I feel bad for anyone who is intimidated by the car buying process and those who are not educated or informed.
