Went in to look at a 2014 Civic. Car was in good shape inside and out minus some cosmetic issues that were easily fixable. Got a quote and they were trying to force sell a $1,595 “theft safety feature” that they claimed was pre-installed when I know for a fact it isn’t cause it’s illegal to do that. The guy claimed that all their vehicles come with it and that they wouldn’t take it off. Do not deal with them.

***BEWARE*** DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! My family drove 3 hours from Ventura County to purchase a car that was being "held" for us. The morning after the car was promised to be held for us we got all the way down there and they are literally selling the car to another person IN FRONT OF US!!! I don't think it can get any more unprofessional than that. Not to mention the car was NOT clean and had scratches all over the door and dash so we would not have purchased it either way. These are BAD AWFUL cars they get from cheap auctions and resell them with damage. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Although some managers may respond to comments in a friendly manner, it's important to approach with careful consideration. Prior to my attempted purchase, I had read various comments, but unfortunately, one of the managers I interacted with displayed rudeness and disrespect, which didn't align with the online interactions. It appears that they may be friendly only when they believe there is a financial advantage. Otherwise, the level of respect may be inconsistent. In light of my experience, my advice to others is to thoroughly evaluate their options before deciding to buy a Kia. If Kia is your preferred choice, I suggest seeking out a dealership with high reviews from genuine customers who have shared their experiences. To Kia, I respectfully recommend implementing monitoring and evaluation processes for your dealerships. Some locations, like Kia of Irvine, might inadvertently lead to losing valuable customers. As for me, I have decided not to purchase a Kia in the future based on my experience.
