I have only purchased one other used car in my lifetime so I must admit I was a bit hesitant going into the process. Buying new is easy as you identify the vehicle you want and get the best deal. Used car shopping I found is far more challenging as you are evaluating subtle differences and there's aways going to be some doubt. We were looking at small/midsize SUV's in the $12K and under range for my daughter. All vehicles with 100K miles and 6-8+ years of wear and tear are going to have their warts. Ultimately after running around all over town checking out a half dozen similar vehicles we settled on the one from Auto Nation Ford. Staff was great, deal seemed fair (considering the market conditions) so now we are just keeping our fingers crossed that the car holds up. The 5-Day return policy was a nice to have as this allowed us to take the car to our local trusted mechanic for a thorough evaluation.
