Was Good Until...

2015 Chevrolet Trax
I bought a used 2015 Chevy Trax in 2017 with about 30k miles on it, and I was happily surprised by how zippy it was. It was great for a city commuter, and wasn't terrible for road trips either, despite not having cruise control. It handled well in snow, too.
At about 80k miles, the check engine light came on. Shortly after it was repaired in a certified repair shop, the check engine … light came on again. Then again. All fingers seemed to point to the turbo having repeated issues that would continue to return after a few thousand miles. Fast-forward to today, my 2015 Chevy Trax is still having issues with the check engine light and the turbo. I recently had the 100k service performed at a Chevy dealership, and that seems to have caused the turbo problems to return. My Trax is in the shop yet again, and the problem is the turbo... again. I'm very disappointed that my Chevy Trax is a lemon, and I am tired of sinking thousands of dollars for repairs into it, especially considering I barely have over 100k miles on it. This could have been a great little commuter vehicle, and I was really hoping I could have gotten more life out of it. Now I am under water on it, and still paying for repairs. The reliability of the 2015 Chevy Trax has proven to be a complete disappointment, and I would not recommend it to anybody.
