For those that have issues with safety chains and factory hitch, get some heavy duty carabiners to fit the hitch which will solve that matter of attaching the chains. My pickup tows my 7000# travel trailer just fine uphill and downhill. I added a WD hitch with sway control bars which really makes the towing pleasant. Went thru Canada to Montana, Dakotas and back last summer and no … complaints. Glad to see standard factory tow mirrors for 2020 2500HD GM pickups. My replacement tow mirror purchase and programming turn signal option that wasn't there originally was $$$$. My fault for not picking the one off the lot with bigger tow mirrors originally. Tow 3 1/2 months out of the year so not a full time RV'r and no need to upgrade for the 10k upcharge for the diesel with all its DEF requirements. Not my choice for my situation, may be yours and nothing wrong with that. I put 38,000 miles since purchased new in May 2018. Only design issue I see is with the factory remote start of 10 min. each for 2 times maximum with my chevy app without restart with key and running thru the gears on transmission to reset for another 2 time cycle. May go with aftermarket to address that matter. Haven't seen the dealer service bays since the 2 free oil changes/rotations and 1 rear defroster/slider window recall. No reason to, it just works as designed!
