Yes, that’s correct, we live over 3 hours away from this dealership but we found the truck we wanted online so we contacted them by phone. We spoke to a young man who could not have been more helpful. He answered every question we had and if he didn’t know the answer, he checked with his manager and then got right back to us. We never felt pressured. Frankly we have come to dread shopping for cars because most of the experiences we have had were terrible. We can honestly say that our experience at Lia Honda was just so different. The gentleman who sold us our brand new Ridgeline was Otis Paris, what an incredible young man! We knew nothing about him but his respectful manner was comforting and accommodating. He patiently waited for our text messages and each and every time, he thanked us. When we arrived to pick up the truck, he knew we were anxious to get back on the road and head home so he moved through everything expeditiously and had everything ready to complete the transaction. The truck was completely prepped and ready to go. We left feeling happy and completely comfortable with the entire transaction. First time ever! After setting up appt with GM, wasn’t very impressed with customer service. After telling GM I wanted to shop more than FIRST truck I saw, was threatened with”one day only” deal, and he didn’t appreciate being a “ping bong ball”. Sorry, but I’m the one dropping 30k, not you! After agreeing to deal the same day, had to wait 3 days to pick up truck. When arriving to pick up truck, GM simply waved from across show rm, never even attempting to talk to me, was there for 2 hrs, so he had ample time if he wanted. After getting lied to about monthly payments, never told me about warranty cost, but that’s another story. After waiting for over an hour to get new windshield wipers, was finally given a new set. I will say Justin was awsome, professional, curtious, and very helpful with questions I had. Upon leaving, was confronted by Sales Manager, who tried selling me a tonneau cover, which he actually told me he thought it should be on the truck already. He wanted to trick it out with bug guard, window guard, and tonneau cover, but instead of actually doing it beforehand, tried to sell me the accessories ! Just wasn’t impressed with the deal from the time I walked in, professionally. Actually felt bullied to make deal, or “it would go away in a day”. I had a trailer brake installed, at no charge, so for that I’m grateful, but should have never taken 3 days. Wife has a lease due at end of March, through Basil, so we’ll be looking elsewhere. I’m sure this will fall on deaf ears, but glad to get it off my chest, thanks for listening to my rant!
