It had been 2005 since owning a brand new car. My 2004 Lexus RX had 325k miles (and still running strong). I was determined to get a used one but my price point placed me between a 2017-2019 years. For the same amount of money and a lower APR I was able to get a brand new 2024 Envista. I had ran across an ad several months prior and the style initially attracted me. Then the more I … read about it the more curious I became. Soooo...went to a dealership and drove one. I was initially surprised by its initial Pep on take off. Most reviews are good on this vehicle but a few mentioned lack of performance in speed. I'm not into racing but this vehicle has enough initial torque to get out of the way (if you need to punch it to merge onto a roadway). Then there is no more strong acceleration. The handling is fun and tight turning radius nice. Interior comfortable. Love the huge Display and I can actually read the map and other indicators. All the new technology is pretty cool. Love the ability to lay down the seats and create a larger cargo area--I do wish it would go flatter/more flush, but it works. I will drive it mostly with rear seats down since I'm often transporting feed bags for animals I got the Preferred trim. I LOVE MY ENVISTA!
