Dealer Review:

Horrible experience. Strongly warn against trusting this company. I found a solid deal on their site for the exact car I was looking for, and was told it was "Shift Certified" by their 150 point in house inspection. Okay, so sounds like it's in great working shape. I drive an hour and a half to test drive the car, and the convertible top isn't working. I tell the salesman I would have bought the car on the spot, except a faulty convertible top could mean thousands in repairs. I tell them to please fix the convertible top and call me back as soon as its fixed. I don't get any calls. I call a few days later to check in, they say the techs are working on it. This morning, a few days later, I wake up and see a "sale pending" notification online for the car. I call Shift hoping it's some kind of mistake, and guess what... They fixed the convertible top yesterday, and never called me, emailed me, or texted me to let me know as I'd requested. And instead, they sold it to someone else. The hilarious thing? For all that F-, non personal, non thoughtful, dishonest service, they still charge a $1000 "dealer fee" with every sale – despite their 150 point inspection not being thorough enough to even catch a non working convertible top. Not only will I never be doing businesses with Shift again, but I will be warn every car buyer I know against them. If this is the future of car buying, the buyer is fully screwed.

This is an incredible Land Rover dealership, the way they combined the different packages and options on all models is very thoughtful and really hit a broad market. I was looking for certain combination of options in a Defender and they were the only ones in SoCal to have them, in multiple cars. Highly recommend Jordan as sales specialist, he was very responsive, kind, knowledgeable and took the time to go over the sales process, even picked me up from a CarMax location far away at 8pm to close the deal. I had to write you this evening to tell you about the excellent service we have been fortunate to experience at your dealership. As you are now aware, I purchased a 2021 Toyota RAV4-Prime XSE almost exactly one year ago. I had such a good experience purchasing that car, I came back to your dealership last week to purchase a 2022 RAV4-Prime XSE from the same salesman. I was having some problems with sensors that didn’t seem to be working. I wrote an email to your service department and Michelle called me this morning. She listened to my concerns and said I should check out my car to see if I did have the sensors on my bumpers and if I didn’t see the round black spots that my car did not come equipped with them. After inspecting my car, I realized I did not have the sensors. I then wrote to you and Nicholas and told you how disappointed we were and what could be done. Less than 30 minutes after I wrote the email, you had directed your General Sales Manager, James, to call me. The first thing he said was that if I was unhappy with the car purchase, he would take the car back. He then went on to explain that what I was looking for was the Premium Package and listed all the things in it and told me the cost of the package. He further said that all the RAV4 Primes coming in were spoken for and none had the Premium Package, but he would be glad to put me on a waiting list for one. He gave me all day to make up our minds if we wanted to return the car. Speaking with my wife during the day, we had several questions come up. I called James back several times and he answered my questions very patiently. About 6PM I called him again and said that we would like to come up to talk with him in person to get further clarification on a couple of the technical items. He said he would have Albert Barraza assist us. We met Albert at 7:30 and he spent almost an hour with us answering our questions, sitting in our car with us and going through and adjusting all the technical areas we had questions on. He was fantastic! He certainly assisted us in our decision to keep the car. Another person that needs to be recognized is the Credit Manager, Aaron, who assisted us in closing our deal. He was the best Credit Manager we have ever dealt with. Lastly, Albert had Mariano Miranda correct the error of someone installing two paper plates in the back of our car and no paper plates in the front. Mariano with a big smile on his face, jumped in to take care of that problem. You should feel very proud to have such talented employees working for you. They certainly took care of my wife and I in the process of purchasing the car and helping us solve our concerns in a very positive manner. Thank You,
