I went to AMG with my son to look at a car advertised for $18,715 that we found on Edmunds. After the test drive and agreeing to purchase, the price presented to us had an additional $3,995 called AMV, adjusted market value which makes the price $22,710 which is what should have been the advertised price. This is a clear case of false advertising. That's before they added $995 for "transportation" and $1,500 fee because we didn't want to finance through them. Would not recommend AMG to anyone.

Kamal, in the most positive way, is 100% nothing that you expect from a car salesperson. He is no pressure, no games, responsive, and courteous. He clearly takes pride in his work. His attention to detail and thoroughness is amazing. He test drove the vehicle before we arrived so he was familiar with it, drove it again after it was serviced- noticed an issue and had it fixed, and fully informed us about it. Though we were buying a pre-owned vehicle, he treated us as though we were buying a new top of the line vehicle. He made effort and took time to do all the little things that made this the Ultimate Car Buying Experience. While we were in the dealership, we observed him interacting with other clients, past and present, and he knew all of their names, the vehicles they had, and they all clearly enjoyed interacting with him. The internet advertised price is the dealer's all cash price. This includes if you come with your own bank financing. If using any bank financing, they try and increase the price by $5,000. The finance team at the dealer is transparent, but only if you ask the right questions. Example, I had to ask about various fees loaded onto the price and discovered a $3,000 prep fee that they were willing to waive.....but I had to dig it out and find it. While seeming to be a fair market priced dealer, they are actually a negotiation dealer. I did like the selection of cars. Sales team was somewhat disinterested (but I was there late on a Saturday).
