Had great phone conversations with Connor and really appreciated how he seemed to understand what I was looking for. Showed up for test drive and he had the car ready. Test drive was great and I decided to see what financing looked like. I was very upfront and honest that my credit score was not the best due to a few blips 8 or 9 years ago (we all know how tricky FICO is), but my DTI and overall income was sound. In the end, I was given an offer that was at least in the ballpark, although I had hoped for a better APR. I decided to see if I could get better financing from my credit union, but it was close to the end of business for them. I told both Connor and Thong I was going to check with them and make a decision the following day. The next day after much deliberation and number crunching, I decided to accept the deal they offered. I texted Connor and said I would call Thong to get the paperwork started. I was then informed that "another salesman in another department" sold the vehicle the night before. I found it strange because the dealership was not busy when I left around 5pm and I would have though someone would have at least called me to see if I had made a decision before selling it. Found the exact same model/trim/color at Safford in Springfield (highly recommend over Criswell). The finance manager thought what happened at Criswell sounded strange and said from what he could see, they hadn't pushed through the offer that they gave me all the way and were probably just backing out of the deal. Safford was able to match the deal and had me in and out in under 2 hours! The following day I decided to just check on the vehicle at Criswell using an alternate email address. I immediately got responses from a sales person and sales manager confirming the vehicle was still available and that they were very eager to sell it to me. I think it's pretty clear I was discriminated against due to my credit score (which I never tried to hide). I'm thankful I was able to find a dealership who treated me with the same respect as the rest of their customers, but it really causes me to wonder what other types of customers Criswell may discriminate against.

What a great car buying experience. I was in the market for a Panamera 4. I originally went to Porsche of Silver Spring to see a specific color but it was on a GTS they had in stock. Scott was my salesman, He did an amazing job. He took me out in a black Panamera 4 and it was awesome, Then he showed me the GTS in Chalk which was the color I wanted to see. I should have stopped right there and ordered a Panamera 4 in chalk. We took the GTS out and I fell in love. Normally this is when the car buying honeymoon ends and the painful negotiating starts. This is when I met the Manager Bruce. This experience was unlike any I have had in the past. They found me options for the 4 in chalk and gave me prices for both. No high pressure sales ever, just good open and honest conversation. In the end we went with the GTS. I am fairly certain that had I been treated in another way I would never have walked out with the GTS, Scott and Bruce were true Profesionals and not "car salesman". We went to pick up the car and sign the paperwork, It was parked in front, clean as can be and filled with gas. Sam in the financing department got us all of our paperwork and on our way with out any delay. We are loving the car and when the time comes that we need another Porsche, we will no doubt be talking with the Awesome team at Porsche of Silver Spring.

I bought a 2019 Chevy Cruze in Dec 31'st, sold my 2008 vette. I bought this car for MPG and a bit bigger for my service dog. A couple weeks ago I was at a local farmers market, my dog was hot so I put her in the car (Push button start) I came back about 20 minutes later and my dog was COOKING in the car with it off. Thankfully it was only off for 5 minutes but this gave me sheer terror, I took the car to GM, asked them what they could do in extending the time frame, they were nice but ultmately refused to do anything for me. Pushed me towards GM, I worked with them for a little over a month, we got technical involved. I escalated to the Customer service facing side and they called it a "safety feature" that the car turns off after 25 minutes with a dog or child present. The district manager also ultimately refused to buy back the car. During our further training, I literally have to watch the car and make sure it doesn't turn itself off while we are waiting. I brought my service dog into the dealership and this was not told to me when I bought it, I loved the buying process but now after calling Toyota locally, they have SUV's that will not turn off and i'm stuck footing the bill. I'm now forced as a employee of one of your financial partners to go through my channels to see if we can get SOMEONES attention up higher. Here's what I want: I want you to buy back the car. So I can get into a car that will stay running if my dog needs to be in there for a limited period of time. Until I do, I'm going to make as much noise as my keyboard will allow.
