Dealer Review:

Inquired about vehicle online . Went to the dealership. Test drove and liked the vehicle . Vehicle had a scratch and I was told it was minor and would be buffered out . Purchased the vehicle and brought back to dealership to have scratch buffed out . So I was told that the scratch was too deep to buff and now a body shop would have to fix it . So that is when the communications started getting weird. No responses for almost 2 weeks . I was finally contacted direct by a body shop. Was told that repair would take 2 days . I tried to contact dealership and ask about how I was going to get around for those days . I was told to talk to service manager. So I go to service dept . They have no record of the appointment. I was asked to ride BART home even though Bart has no service to my hometown. I was forced to rent a car and pay for it . So basically I bought a vehicle with a scratch and was told that it would be taken care of . But in the end , it was me paying to take care of it and being made to feel that it was my fault for the scenario. I paid three days of my time traveling back to dealership, paid for 2 days car rental and the gas associated with all the travel. I know things happen but the way things went should have been better.

Waited to write this review so that I could list accurately and honestly. Wait, there’s a word that Earth motor cars could learn! My experience On 1/28/22 I purchased a 2014 bmw m6 with 39,000 miles. This was an online deal and I ended flying in to drive the car back 600 miles. My first experience, salesman Sonny/Sunny. Hands me the key and says take it for a drive.. he calls me ten minutes later and says is everything ok? Well maybe the gas tank shouldn’t read 2 miles to empty when you know a customer is coming in for a test drive? Had to use my own $ and put $10 worth of gas. Upon visual inspection ( what they failed to tell me prior to arriving) totally scratched navigation $500 to replace. Multiple scratches on the trunk. $750 repaint. Back widow tint bubbles from extreme heat exposure $650.Yes, it is a used car, but abused and used are too different things. Sunny says we will fill the car up for you so you can hit the road on your 600 mile trip… we’ll they said it’s policy to only fill half the tank for a customer spending $50,000? So they only gave me a half tank of gas! Less than 40 miles into my trip the add engine oil light comes on. The car is 3/4 of a quart low? Hmm must be policy to only put 7 quarts in a 8 quart car. Sunny.. says the car has run flats?( really because OEM bmw tires are Michelin pilots run flats. The car had Kuhmo tires). The car did get me home without any mechanical issues. 2/5/22. Took the car to get a haircut. 2 blocks from home, the drivetrain malfunction light comes on. Possible misfires or worse. I have owned 4 bmws prior to this one so I started to check the obvious. Upon taking the air filter boxes out. I discovered a dirt clog the size of a baseball in the air intake from the grill to the box?(sunny says we did a 100+ point inspection?) how could you miss that?Outcome, injectors are stuck in the open position flooding the oil with gas. Repair bill $3090. Car had a soft recall from bmw which they call extended warranty.. said dealership( earth motor cars) should have taken it in to have them replaced? Lastly, NEVER trust the salesman, the stealership, or any staff at Earth Motor Cars. I would expound more.. but currently have a lawyer for some other issues I discovered that could possibly be criminal in nature.. carfax is currently investigating some issues as well. .

Best car buying experience of my life... I've purchased over a dozen new vehicles and, while almost none were truly bad experiences, all pale in comparison to this one. Working with Shawn Ware and Randy Dugan was the easiest and most pleasant car buying process I've ever been through. I sent an inquiry via the website and got an immediate response from Shawn. Asked him for a few pictures and he texted them to me quickly. Sent him details about my trade-in vehicle and got a fair trade-in value from him very quickly and without any haggling. Asked for an actual deal sheet and he emailed me one within minutes (if you've never bought a car remotely getting an actual deal sheet sent to you is usually nearly impossible). I've used both Vroom and Carvana in the past and while I would be willing to use Carvana again I'd rather just call Shawn; it was a simpler and more pleasant experience. Once I was ready to do the deal Randy called to go over the specifics on the financials and, for the first time ever in my experience talking to finance managers, didn't try to do the hard sell on the extended warranties. He told me he had a couple of options and asked (yes asked!) if I wanted to know about them. Got him in touch with the loan officer at the credit union I used for the loan and he took it from there. To top it all off they delivered my new truck and picked up my trade-in for free to my home 250 miles away from their dealership. Total time from asking for some pictures to truck sitting in my driveway was less than 24 hours. Next time I'm in the Longview area I'll make a point to stop in and meet Shawn and Randy in person. Great experience all the way around.
