Jenn O'Brian, Internet Sales, and Kinny Landrum, New Car Sales Manager, went out of their way to help us buy a 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, Limited. My husband and I are serious researchers and Googlers. We determined the car we wanted and I began contacting Dealers. I was getting discouraged, because while the response was good, not a single Dealer really seemed to want to sell a car or offer the opportunity to negotiate a new car purchase. I posted on Edmund's Auto site, the packages and things we wanted in a new car. Kinny, apparently, saw my request and actually procured the exact car I wanted! He had it driven to his Dealership overnight! He called to invite us to take a look, and without a pushy sales attitude. We ran over to Bowling Green on a Saturday, which is about an hour and 15 minutes. I had a Hair Salon appointment, so we didn't have a lot of time to talk about cars. Jenn rode with us as we test drove the RAV4. It was exactly what we had been looking for. We offered our best price, and Jenn & Kinny countered with an offer that was totally reasonable and sweet! I was from out of state and contacted them to buy a new car because the car I had broke down and I needed to buy something as an emergency to get home. When I first send over contact information I was called within 20 minutes and then everything went downhill. It started with we will call you back within a few minutes and that never happened every single time I called and that was from the internet sales team and a sales manager and a finance manager. There was several times where I left voicemails that were never returned. There was also a few times where I was hung up on and when I called back was told the person I spoke with went home for the day. After almost a week of this finally I was told to come into the dealership because they could get me approved in my situation just not for the truck I wanted. I asked to please do everything remotely due to not having a car to get to the dealership and staying in a hotel to far away to walk. They said I had to come in so I got a lyft to get over to the dealership cost me $20 both ways. When I walked in we chose a car and went from there. I ended up leaving without a car or truck. Then finally after another broken promise to call back by a manager I called the sales person and was told that every bank turned me down. I understand the situation but if it is explained to you before hand, a credit app was sent over before hand, and everything then dont force a customer to come in and constantly lie to them waste their time and money. As far as I am concerned I will take my business to a dealership back home and if you live in the Memphis area then take your business elsewhere.
