In fairness, this team was very professional and very transparent. Hence, my logic behind giving them 3 out of 5 stars versus something less reasonable. Here's the thing...in an attempt to either tug at my heartstrings or be truly honest, they said their sales are down and in order to keep the employees at the dealership employed, a non-negotiable, mandatory, "northwest package" of $3000 is marked up on every vehicle. It doesn't matter if you special order or not. So everyone is aware, this is not common practice. They were up front...kudos...but when I asked what it consisted of...I don't need overpriced weather mats or LoJack. I can buy better TuxMats for less and a $29 AirTag versus a $795 LoJack that is redundant with Lexus' safety and anti-theft systems. I'm buying a Lexus not a Hyundai. Don't sell me things that the automakers don't think are necessary. It holds no value to me and is a sunk cost on an item that already runs in the tens of thousands of dollars. I expected more from a reputable brand. Maybe that's why the Korean automakers are eating their lunch in sales and marketshare. I am a diehard Lexus fan, but that was the fastest conversation I've had since COVID started. Please stop taking advantage of a loyal fanbase. We deserve better.

Contacted dealership on a Tuesday about a truck for sale that was priced well below blue book, too good to be true. I asked the salesman Mahdi to confirm bed length and send me more photos of truck, he said he would do it that day but I never heard back from him. I finally heard back from him on Friday saying that he finally confirmed that the Chuck had a long bed like we were looking for and he sent me a few pictures we started the process of getting an appointment set up. We were worried about hidden problems so we set up a pre buyer's inspection at a separate dealership and set an appointment with the salesman for the next day at 1:30 to come take the truck for a test drive and the prebuyers inspection. I texted the salesman at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday to confirm that the truck was there and that we were still on for the 1:30 appointment, he confirmed and my husband left our home at 12:25 to drive the hour it took to the dealership. Received a text from the salesman at 12:45 saying that he was so sorry but someone was test driving the truck and most likely buying it. I called and asked to speak to a manager who is very insensitive to the whole issue and said that's their policy that it's first come first serve, they won't even hold a vehicle for travel time which is a policy I've never heard. I believe there is a hidden problem with this truck and they knew we were going to find out at the buyer's inspection. We also found out along the way that the truck did have a lot of work done to it that was not listed on the Carfax and that the dealership did not disclose to us prior to sitting the appointment, we got this information from giving the VIN number to a different dealership and they looked it up and said that it did have some major mechanical repairs including pistons and something with the gasket. I purchased a pre owned 2018 328d on October 13th 2022, within 24 hours of owning this car the engine blew on it. I immediately contacted the dealership and they sent someone to come pick us up because we were stranded on the highway. They contacted a towing company (that I had to pay for) to come pick up the car from the highway and gave me a loaner car while they diagnosed what caused the issue in the first place. After receiving the keys for the loaner I made a quick walk around video of the car to ensure I would not be blamed for any damage to the loaner, I did not take any time to inspect it because we had already been at the dealership for a few hours waiting and wanted to go get lunch. After lunch I noticed that the front passenger side tire had a hole in it. We immediately sent a picture to Mandy and returned to the dealership. Upon our return we were initially accused of hitting a pothole and causing the damage. I was able to show that that wasn't the case with my video. I live an hour and a half away from this dealership and this oversight by the service department could have easily caused a blowout on the highway. My understanding is that the engine blew a rod. Mandy in the service department had mentioned that they didn't notice anything wrong when they had changed the oil in March of 2022; however, when you call to get a price on unpriced vehicles listed on their website, they will tell you they don't have one yet because the cars are inspected and serviced when they come in as a trade before they are priced. In hindsight, it believe they may have known about the issue and sold it anyways. Receiving updates on the status of the repairs on my car were difficult at best. The only response I would get is that it "may be a few weeks". This caused issues because my job requires me to travel at times and the repairs overlapped Thanksgiving week. They did not want their loaner traveling to far away from the dealership. I've had this car in my possession for 3 months now, everything seems to work fine on it; however, because I drive a lot each day (100+ miles daily), it was already ready for an oil change. Since this was the first oil change since having a new engine installed, I thought it would be appropriate to take it to the dealership so they can service it instead of doing it myself. The dealership's website advertises $179.95 for an oil change on a diesel. This was NOT the price they charged. I left with a bill for $328.99+tax for the oil change service ($144 in "Labor" charges and $35 to top off the DEF fluid. That's more than double the retail price of DEF). Absolutely would NOT recommend this dealership.
