I negotiated on my used van in good faith and found the paperwork I signed had the wrong VIN early the next morning. I brought the title and extra key for my trade-in with me to straighten out the problem immediately. The van I took home was a more expensive van than the van with the VIN on my paperwork ($1-4K more). After waiting too long, the manager Mike Munoz came in and proceeded to treat me like I was the one who had done something wrong, threatening twice that if I left with the van I thought I purchased that he would have no option but to call the police on me. I don’t believe he would have ever have spoken to a man the way he spoke to me, especially since I did everything right. I may be an old lady, but I certainly did not deserve to be treated the way he treated me. I was willing to negotiate a different deal until he decided to treat me like a thief. Even though the dealership ended up honoring the deal later in the day, it was an unforgivable ordeal that I should never have had to suffer through. While the $50 gift card to O’Charley’s they gave me was appreciated, it didn’t start to substitute for an apology from Mike Munoz, who I didn’t see again. I will never do business with this dealership again and I am telling everyone I can about my bad experience.

Dealer Review:

Went in casually to look at Armada’s. We test drove one Platinum Reserve that was certified preowned (CPO), which is what we wanted and requested. It had a torn leather seat and 3 chips in the windshield that were all starting to crack and spread. The salesperson kept trying to down play both items saying that it wouldn’t cost that much for US to repair and/or replace the leather tear and windshield if we chose to buy the vehicle. Keep in mind, CPO is supposed to be the best of the best for used cars and this clearly was not the case here. Eventually the salesperson said THEY would fix them both...and I have the text stating this. The salesperson also stated on our first visit that the POSTED price on their website, that clearly shows that it’s CPO for that price, did NOT actually include the CPO price after all and that it would be added to OUR price if we decided to get it. He said they did it that way to look competitive to be able to get people on the lot!! So when we got the sales quote (that I wish I could attach), not only was the CPO price of $1295 tacked on the top but then so was the repair price for the leather seat and the windshield for $1095 that THEY “were going to fix”!! Obviously we walked away laughing at this place! There was nothing good about the experience at this dealership and the negotiating was definitely one sided. They wanted top $ for the vehicle and didn’t come off that price, even when I showed them it was priced only as “fair” on ALL the consumer websites and found similar Armada’s at other local dealerships that we’re priced cheaper. They also tried to offer the lowest trade in amount showing on KBB for my vehicle. It was a joke! Do not recommend them at all! Dealt with multiple car dealerships over the years but this dealership would be at the bottom of my list to buy from.
