Dealer Review:

Ourisman Honda of Laurel is the worst dealership in the area. The experience I had with them was unbelievable. They are very dishonest with their customers and the customer service is the worst. I had made a deal with one of the sales people on a bottom line number however, I asked several times about the mileage on the 2019 vehicle I had planned to purchase from them. I was told that the cars were brand new. Therefore, I am thinking as a consumer brand new means little miles like 15 or less, give or take. Well the sales person decided to tell me the real miles while I was in route to the dealership. It was 128 on one car and 50 on the other. If I wanted a demo car, I would have asked for one. I called the owner of Ourisman and never heard back from him; one of the rude managers called from corporate by the way was useless. I spoke with the GM and he stated that the cars are brand new. I told him that I specifically asked for little miles and that it was deceitful to tell me while I was in route that the cars had that many miles. The GM, also told me that there is no car dealership that will have a car with less than 30 miles on them. I told him that is NOT true because I had purchased a new car before and it had 12 miles. Nonetheless, after all the unnecessary back and forth with the dealership I took my business elsewhere where they had five cars of my choice with 6-14 miles on the cars. Keep driving pass Ourisman Honda of Laurel because you will not receive the customer you should receive especially when you are paying cash.

Dealer Review:

This dealership tried to add over $3,000 in addition to taxes, tags, and dealer processing to their advertised "Guaranteed Wow" price. The fees included over $2,000 for a reconditioning fee and another $700 for some sort of deluxe detail package. The sales person did quickly remove the $700 fee but admitted that the store advertises a lower "Wow" price to get people in the door and then add the restoration fee. After showing the Koons Wow Price Promise on the Koons website the general manager removed the restoration fee. The only reason I drove to this dealership was the reassurance that there would be no hidden fees associated with the Koons Wow price, finding out this not be the case was disappointing. When I took delivery of the car, in addition to only being provided one key fob the vehicle had a warning light displayed stating there was an issue with the remote starter. I was instructed to take the vehicle to a Honda dealership to have this issue diagnosed. The vehicle needed a new start/stop switch. Koons did reimburse me for this expense but it took a few reminders to have the reimbursement check sent to me. I was told the check would be over-nighted but instead it took two weeks to get reimbursed. I've had the vehicle for a little over a month and the second key fob that was supposed to be mailed has never arrived. I contacted my sales associated several times and told several times that it would be sent. I don't like having to be a pest and repeatedly check on the status of an item. I have texted and emailed several times and at this point am counting my losses. The sales associate, Dequan, was cordial and helpful, though I'm not sure why he never sent the key fob. Had it not been for Dequan I would have likely walked away from this dealership and rated it a one.

I told him what I was willing to spend out the door. We seemed to have reached an agreement on my trade and pricing. I dealt with him for literally weeks on an interest rate. We were getting lower with the interest-rate and discussing pricing. He called me to discuss the final price and monthly payment, I told him that I want the price breakdown in writing. He sends me an email with just Numbers. The price was almost $3000 above what we discussed. He lowballed my trade, which they were supposed to pay off. Here I was , dealing with this place, under completely false pretenses. The on the 28th of the month he comes back to me with completely different numbers, not even officially in writing. Therefore if I had gone to the dealership, without a sales order, something on letterhead or official they would change the prices again. You bet they will with this pattern. The story speaks for itself. They are SHADY, CHANGE PRICES AND LIE!!! Do not trust the price as listed. Expect nonsense fees. Avoid this dealership if you're out of state! Over three hours, I messaged a rep to get details on a vehicle. When I I was going to drive two hours from out of state, the rep had the manger call to tell me someone else was coming in 30 minutes to look at it. I offered to buy it over the phone and even sent a picture of the cashiers check for full price plus fees. The manager, Brian, said he would call me as soon as the potential buyers left. Three hours later I called him back and he said they were still in the store and he'd call me when they left. He never did! There's definitely something fishy about their low priced vehicles online. I had a cashiers check in hand to buy something for sale, and they wouldn't let me buy it. Business must be booming there, or they're being shady. Just because you're talking to the ring leader of the circus, Brian, don't assume you're getting an honest professional. I regret wasting my time and energy trying to do business with ciocca Honda, don't waste yous!
