Dealer Review:

Was going to stop there this morning to buy a new 530e. As i was going out the door my dad called me and asked me have i bought the car, i told him i was on my way he asked do you know how much is the oil changes. I told him let me call to find out and will call you back not that made any difference he was just asking. Trying to get this info took over 30 min and never was i given this info asked to speak with the MGR after a 20 min hold i was told that all MGR are in a meeting. Really took 20 min to find this out. So the out come is i have to inconvenient myself and go to a BMW dealership when they were only a 10 min drive from my house. I don't feel comfortable dealing with a dealership that feels so mismanaged ultimately upper management hire lower management that are reflection of them self's. Funny how they lost a sale over a sample question. I wonder how many times a day this happens. Am sure the other dealership sales team will thank you're service department for such an excellent customer service after my purchase in about an hour or so.

I went in with my wife and found the car I wanted on their website with a price of $11,000. However, after test driving I noticed a sticker on the car showing they added on $4500 worth of aftermarket services/equipment. I told the salesman right then, “$11,000 is OK I am paying cash, but I don’t want the rest of that.” He told me, “Well, I am not sure I can get them to take it off. I’ll ask, maybe it’s your lucky day…” We go inside and sit down at his desk. He asks me to fill out an application. I told him he needed to check to see if the extras will be removed. He ignores me and asks me more questions to fill in his application (why am I applying if I am going to give him a check?) It’s a good deal so I oblige him. I ask him to pay the tax/title/etc. He says no. Fine, worth a shot. We agree on 12,200. He then goes to his manager, who comes back with the paperwork. Salesman left with a written offer of $12,300. Manager comes back with an offer of $16,600. They are still trying to push their $4500 add-ons. I have just wasted an hour of my day. I stand up and tell him that I am leaving. “I was clear what I wanted and I was ignored.” I get up and manager is trying to get me to stay, saying, “Work with me here.” I get out and get in my car… except the dealer has parked a car (it has a sales sticker in the window) behind mine. The salesman saw us drive up, knew where we were parked, and I believe had someone park a car behind me when he saw I wasn’t thrilled about the tax/title fees. My wife said she saw the salesman talk to someone that immediately ran out of the building as he walked with the first offer to the manager. I walk back in and ask a nearby employee to move the car (first time I asked for this). He acts as if he’s going to take care of it. I walk back to my car and am sitting there when the manager runs back out with the new deal for the original 12,300. Against my better judgement, we went back inside. The blocking car has not moved. After a few minutes my wife asked the salesman to move the car (2nd time), as he is sitting across from us. He looks at me and says, “You are getting a new car, you should be happy.” I looked him dead in the face and said, “I’m not happy.” The $12,300 is a good deal and is the only reason I am staying. The salesman takes us over to the waiting area for the finance guys, and tells us they’ll be with us shortly. My wife notices they STILL have not moved the car blocking us. She gets up and tells a person (3rd request) to move the car. It’s obvious they are doing what they can to prevent me from leaving. We wait for about 15 minutes. Car hasn’t moved. She gets up and tells yet another person she must leave immediately, and the car must be moved. At that point someone runs out and moves the car. The fact that they pulled this kind of shenanigans just burns me to the point that I decide, these jokers aren’t getting a dime from me, good deal or not. I walk past a finance guy, tell him my name, and that I am no longer interested in the car. I walk past the front desk where several men were sitting and tell them the same thing. One just jumps up like he’s sitting on an ejector seat, and asks, “What’s the problem sir?” I ignored him and left. Moral of the story is: DON’T BUY A CAR FROM HUNTINGTON BEACH CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM. You’ll get taken by a smarmy stereotypical used car salesman.

[non-permissible content removed]! Horrible experience! -1* honestly... Terrible customer service, plus we were completely lied to and tricked into buying. They don’t even return phone calls when there’s an issue. My daughter purchased a 2018 BMW x4 and was told it was a BMW managers vehicle, that it hadn’t been in any accidents. She had to sign a disclaimer that there was paint repair and we were assured multiple times that it was only the standard minor scratches repaired like they do to all their cars. Plus she received a clean CarFax. Well right after getting it home a piece around the windshield was falling off, so we called several times over the last 2 month span without getting any reply so we took the x4 to the local dealership to have it fixed, because we didn’t know what else to do. They had to order the part cause they thought it was warped, turns out it wasn’t. The car has been in a major accident, the fenders were replaced/repaired along with the windshield and nothing is lined up properly so that’s the issue with the trim around the window. The local dealership double checked the car and said, they didn’t even repair it properly. They told us to contact the dealership where it was purchased right away so we tried again without any response. We called several times yesterday starting right at opening and were promised a call back within a hour, well that didn’t happen nor did we even get a return call back by the end of the day. I don’t know how these thieves can sleep at night ripping off a single, pregnant 22 year old that’s trying to be in the safest car she can afford and saved for. Looks like we will have to contact an attorney unless they make it right sooner rather then later. Just so readers know we aren’t new to BMW or the standard of their typical customers service that we are now accustome to. We are a BMW family and own another x4 m40i, z4 and a 430i convertible. We also use to have a z3, 540, 340i and a 335i in the past. This is just our first time buying at at this dealership and definitely our LAST. Our experience at BMW Irvine with Jason was way better and we will not stray from there again. It was the biggest mistake we’ve made! Absolutely discussed... Sal and Zach this is absolutely the worst customer service we have ever experienced from a BMW dealership. I will update this post if anything changes !
