I accepted a deal in writing with Koons Tysons Toyota management, Salesman, and Appraiser for the trade in of my 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport in October, 2020. That deal was verified the morning of my arrival to buy a new 2021 Tacoma TRD Sport on November 1, 2020. However, on my arrival to the dealership a few hours later (Nov. 1) their management team refused the previously accepted in-writing deal. I've spoken to multiple managers and none of them care about the in-writing promise that was made to me. One of the managers said "post a review, it's a free country." If ANY competitors of Koons wants to see my communication history with Koons Tysons Toyota, please let me know. In my opinion, Koons Tysons of Toyota doesn't care about customer loyalty, they don't care about honoring their promises, and they think they can bully loyal customers. For them, it's all about the money and playing the game. I am appalled. The public should shop elsewhere for Tacoma trucks. There are plenty of other dealerships to shop from. Amar Rana is the General Manager Alex Armakan is the Sales Manager Ricky Jacobs is the Internet Manager All 3, plus the appraiser, Kevin Butler, and the salesman, have been on all communication emails. I have always purchased cars new from factory dealers (not a fan of as is deals or getting a limited warranty)but Imperial had a car I was interested in at a good price. Of course he first thing I did was read the reviews and even then I remained skeptical but thought I would give them a chance. There was no need to worry. I first met with Fatima on a Sunday. He was polite, professional and upfront. No hard sell or barrage of questions. I came back later in the week to test drive a few cars. I then met Salim. He answered all of my questions and like Fahim, did not give me the hard sell which was appreciated. Upon selecting a car(Tesla) the rest of the transaction was smooth and painless on their end. I had an issue with some incompetence at my bank but he remained patient. A few days later I tried to charge my car and the cord is faulty. One phone call later and they are addressing my problem. Despite no promises of after sale help, they are stepping up and keeping their word to keep their customer happy. What more can I say except that I will definitely recommend them and will not hesitate to purchase from imperial again in the future. I bought a 2019 Chevy Cruze in Dec 31'st, sold my 2008 vette. I bought this car for MPG and a bit bigger for my service dog. A couple weeks ago I was at a local farmers market, my dog was hot so I put her in the car (Push button start) I came back about 20 minutes later and my dog was COOKING in the car with it off. Thankfully it was only off for 5 minutes but this gave me sheer terror, I took the car to GM, asked them what they could do in extending the time frame, they were nice but ultmately refused to do anything for me. Pushed me towards GM, I worked with them for a little over a month, we got technical involved. I escalated to the Customer service facing side and they called it a "safety feature" that the car turns off after 25 minutes with a dog or child present. The district manager also ultimately refused to buy back the car. During our further training, I literally have to watch the car and make sure it doesn't turn itself off while we are waiting. I brought my service dog into the dealership and this was not told to me when I bought it, I loved the buying process but now after calling Toyota locally, they have SUV's that will not turn off and i'm stuck footing the bill. I'm now forced as a employee of one of your financial partners to go through my channels to see if we can get SOMEONES attention up higher. Here's what I want: I want you to buy back the car. So I can get into a car that will stay running if my dog needs to be in there for a limited period of time. Until I do, I'm going to make as much noise as my keyboard will allow.
