    Dealer Review:

    I typically give businesses a 3 strikes rule, so as to let lesser offenses slide with a benefit of the doubt. However, the service conducted at Auto Boutique is simply unforgivable. First, they say that a car I saw on Edmunds was available, and I called the morning of. That afternoon, I arrived with cash in hand ready to test drive and make a purchase if everything checked out. They made me wait for 30+ minutes to tell us that we could take it for a 10 minute test drive. Then another 20 minutes passed and a salesperson came out, mildly apologetic, and states that the car is actually being test driven and is not currently available to look at. We ask if it'll take another hour or so. He says no, maybe it wilI be back tomorrow as it's an "extended test drive". On a 2015 Camry? What? And get this – the Edmunds listing states that the car has no accidents, but upon viewing the CarFax, it was actually involved in an accident with moderate damage (airbag deployment). You can either call this horrendously misleading or outright lie so that they can get us to come on their lot, waste 3 hours of our day including round trip transportation, only to look at their other cars on the lot because the "too good to be true" listing on Edmunds was really just a ploy. Honestly, shame on you for using shady business tactics. Please understand that customers who are smart enough to see through your dishonesty will take offense to being conned, and not want to waste anymore time looking at your other cars if the one they specifically sought out is mysteriously ~unavailable~. I also find it interesting that your employees do not wear masks inside the store? I will give credit to the few that I saw keeping it on inside, but I saw far too many for my comfort. I'm very unsettled by the poor business practices that I witnessed today, so kindly enjoy this review and do better.

    Stay away from here!! I was set to buy a jeep, had issues while I was test driving but they gave me their word they would address it! I also liked my sales guy Jonathon and wanted to give him he business because he did seem very genuine and trustworthy. They don’t provide Carfax so I went home and purchased the carfax. I put $1000 down to hold the car. The carfax came out clean but said 3 owners as opposed to one pr two which they had inconsistently advertised. Also saw that the car was on a lot for three weeks before being auctioned. I was advised to get a pre purchase inspection (a normal protocol for a consumer doing their due diligence). I went to the dealer the next day with intentions to buy they car if it checked out OK, not fully ingoring the red flags already about the owner “s”. They asked me to get the mechanic to come to the dealership as it’s their policy to not allow the car off the lot. I imagine they knew what the answer would be. No certified mechanic will perform an inspection offsite. The handful of mechanics I spoke to told me to be very skeptical of that. So after a little back and forth he said he would give me names of third party inspectors to come and check out the car, after I tried calling several—I got the same answer. That no mechanic can see the sludge in the engine in a parking lot and not having the full equipment to run the tests it needs to inspect the car. I asked Gaby to give me just a few hour “refund guarantee” and he wouldn’t even do that. He tried offering me a bunk warranty knowing full well it doesn’t cover preexisting conditions. We then drove the car, it was better than yesterday but didn’t feel right. So that confirmed that I needed to walk away. I would have bought it if they allowed me to have someone look at it for an hour and a half, the sales guy even offered to accompany and Gaby still would not allow it. Major major shady business here. I honestly feel bad for Jonathon the sales guy and I hope he runs and finds another place to work. Please read the other reviews before buying or even going near this place. They are all VERY consistent in their complaints . Shameful and shady business .

    Dealer Review:

    I visited the dealership to look at a vehicle listed as "coming soon" It was dirty (expected that) and was in need of few (4) items to be repaired which the salesman claimed would take care of when it was detailed. After the test drive I made a down payment and agreed to close the deal and take delivery in a week. I called the day before the week had lapsed (salesman was supposed to "call me") and the salesman said it was ready. I went to pick up the car and when the brought it out it was poorly detailed and no items were repaired. I addressed these items with the salesman and he took the vehicle back to the service area only to return with one item repaired and said parts where needed to complete the other items. He created a service order (I have a copy) for those items said he would submit it and gave me a contact in the service department and said they would "call me". After a week I called them. I was told they weren't aware of the service order and asked who my salesman was and they would "call me right back" After a day I called the service manager and was told to bring the car in they had received the parts. I took in the car and said I was here for my appointment to which the service man says "what appointment" He looks at the vehicle takes pictures of items to be repaired (which the salesman had already done when he submitted the service order) and says this one item costs $300 and will need management approval! He told me the service manager will order the parts and "call me" That call never came. I called the service manager and after 3 more "I'll call you" was told parts are ready. I bring the Vehicle back and they repair one item and said they ordered the wrong part (the part that was supposedly $300). Of course they said they'll order it and "call me" I tried to contact them several times only to get excuses and that they will "call me". The solution to the problem is that of company loyalty. If the sales and service really cared for their role in the organization they could do it by providing good customer service. Also proper training of the sales staff to understand the limitations of the service department and help them provide better customer service.

    Cory was great. He took the time to make sure I was comfortable with my purchase, even going out of his way to make sure the car listed online was the one I wanted. My only concern is the total cost. I went from expecting to pay 22k or 24k at the most, to paying 33k. I thought that the base price included everything already in the car. I would just ask for a little more transparency in the financing area so I’m not over-extending myself.

    Dealer Review:

    I visited the dealership to look at a vehicle listed as "coming soon" It was dirty (expected that) and was in need of few (4) items to be repaired which the salesman claimed would take care of when it was detailed. After the test drive I made a down payment and agreed to close the deal and take delivery in a week. I called the day before the week had lapsed (salesman was supposed to "call me") and the salesman said it was ready. I went to pick up the car and when the brought it out it was poorly detailed and no items were repaired. I addressed these items with the salesman and he took the vehicle back to the service area only to return with one item repaired and said parts where needed to complete the other items. He created a service order (I have a copy) for those items said he would submit it and gave me a contact in the service department and said they would "call me". After a week I called them. I was told they weren't aware of the service order and asked who my salesman was and they would "call me right back" After a day I called the service manager and was told to bring the car in they had received the parts. I took in the car and said I was here for my appointment to which the service man says "what appointment" He looks at the vehicle takes pictures of items to be repaired (which the salesman had already done when he submitted the service order) and says this one item costs $300 and will need management approval! He told me the service manager will order the parts and "call me" That call never came. I called the service manager and after 3 more "I'll call you" was told parts are ready. I bring the Vehicle back and they repair one item and said they ordered the wrong part (the part that was supposedly $300). Of course they said they'll order it and "call me" I tried to contact them several times only to get excuses and that they will "call me". The solution to the problem is that of company loyalty. If the sales and service really cared for their role in the organization they could do it by providing good customer service. Also proper training of the sales staff to understand the limitations of the service department and help them provide better customer service.

    Stay away!!! Avoid them at any cost, dont trust! Two of their sales reps told me over the phone they had all 3 cars I was looking for in stock. I have asked them multiple times just to ensure I dont drive over there for 1,5 hours for nothing. Guess what? Once arrived, none of the cars were there. I heard some [non-permissible content removed] arguments about them being in transit (web-site clearly stated they were on stock, and even had stock number item, two sales reps confirmed they were also on stock), that one of them was sold. Sales manager, Paul Hewitt, gave a long apologetic speech and all sorts of reasons, without even realizing that I was after completely other cars. really bad at selling.... Seems like they are using these ads on their web-site as a simple bait to get the customers drive all the away to their dealership. what a cheap trick, wasnt expecting that this is still being practiced in 21st century...

Honda Pilot Nightmare

Touring w/Navigation and Rear Entertainment System 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 9A)
We purchased a 2017 Honda Pilot in December 2016 with the hope of buying a nice, reliable vehicle based on Honda's reputation. This SUV has been a nightmare. We started having service issues at approximately 10,000 miles which included the back up camera not working, the navigation system failing, a rear window leak that required multiple visits to the dealership, traction control … issues, and the most significant issue was the "Emissions System Problem". The emission issue resulted in numerous visits for repairs (sometimes reported as an oil change) when we brought the vehicle in and they would perform the regular maintenance in conjunction with the warranty work. After several visits associated with the emission issue, they replaced the catalytic converter and two gaskets, which did not resolve the issue. If the vehicle had not been under warranty this would have cost us approximately $800 to repair. About a week later the light was back on and they determined not all of the cylinders were properly functioning (keep in mind this has been a long running issue). At that time they replaced the injector set as well as some cylinders, which if not under warranty this would have totaled just over $2,000. As a working mom with three kids to drive to/from school and activities dealing with these issues has been a significant burden on our family. Our vehicle currently has about 30,000 miles and is still under warranty, but we are beyond concerned about the warranty expiring. We consulted legal counsel under the lemon law and also met with the General Manager Ken Snyder as CDA Honda is a local company and our preference is to get the reliable vehicle we thought we were purchasing. In our conversation he spoke highly of what Honda does to take care of their customers and really supports the local dealerships. Ken asked if "swapping out" the vehicle would work for us (that was my request under the lemon law); however, what he really meant was trade it in as we found out in the process when his staff sprang to life with the excitement of selling a new car. After all of the transportation hardships we have dealt with for the past year and a half, the thought of paying more money (for a vehicle that might function better) just seemed completely unreasonable. We received a letter from CDA Honda approximately a month ago indicating Honda was reviewing our case and have had zero follow up from Ken Snyder or anyone else at CDA Honda. When I inquired on the status I was informed it was with Honda and out of their control. The finger pointing began and it is particularly frustrating as a consumer when we are struck with a product that is not reliable. During the purchasing process we could have saved money by going to a larger dealership or purchasing one from Boise/Seattle, but we always want to support local businesses and keep money in our local economy (cash purchase). While everyone in the service department has been friendly, there has been no effort to proactively resolve this issue and we feel that it would be absolutely unconscionable to sell this vehicle (as a private party). Historically we have purchased new vehicles and have drove them for years. We currently have a Toyota with 130,000 miles that we use for family trips since our Honda Pilot with 30,000 hasn't been reliable and we are uncomfortable driving it too far from home.
