Dealer Review:
I visited the dealership to look at a vehicle listed as "coming soon" It was dirty (expected that) and was in need of few (4) items to be repaired which the salesman claimed would take care of when it was detailed. After the test drive I made a down payment and agreed to close the deal and take delivery in a week. I called the day before the week had lapsed (salesman was supposed to "call me") and the salesman said it was ready. I went to pick up the car and when the brought it out it was poorly detailed and no items were repaired. I addressed these items with the salesman and he took the vehicle back to the service area only to return with one item repaired and said parts where needed to complete the other items. He created a service order (I have a copy) for those items said he would submit it and gave me a contact in the service department and said they would "call me". After a week I called them. I was told they weren't aware of the service order and asked who my salesman was and they would "call me right back" After a day I called the service manager and was told to bring the car in they had received the parts. I took in the car and said I was here for my appointment to which the service man says "what appointment" He looks at the vehicle takes pictures of items to be repaired (which the salesman had already done when he submitted the service order) and says this one item costs $300 and will need management approval! He told me the service manager will order the parts and "call me" That call never came. I called the service manager and after 3 more "I'll call you" was told parts are ready. I bring the Vehicle back and they repair one item and said they ordered the wrong part (the part that was supposedly $300). Of course they said they'll order it and "call me" I tried to contact them several times only to get excuses and that they will "call me". The solution to the problem is that of company loyalty. If the sales and service really cared for their role in the organization they could do it by providing good customer service. Also proper training of the sales staff to understand the limitations of the service department and help them provide better customer service.

Dealer Review:
I typically give businesses a 3 strikes rule, so as to let lesser offenses slide with a benefit of the doubt. However, the service conducted at Auto Boutique is simply unforgivable. First, they say that a car I saw on Edmunds was available, and I called the morning of. That afternoon, I arrived with cash in hand ready to test drive and make a purchase if everything checked out. They made me wait for 30+ minutes to tell us that we could take it for a 10 minute test drive. Then another 20 minutes passed and a salesperson came out, mildly apologetic, and states that the car is actually being test driven and is not currently available to look at. We ask if it'll take another hour or so. He says no, maybe it wilI be back tomorrow as it's an "extended test drive". On a 2015 Camry? What? And get this – the Edmunds listing states that the car has no accidents, but upon viewing the CarFax, it was actually involved in an accident with moderate damage (airbag deployment). You can either call this horrendously misleading or outright lie so that they can get us to come on their lot, waste 3 hours of our day including round trip transportation, only to look at their other cars on the lot because the "too good to be true" listing on Edmunds was really just a ploy. Honestly, shame on you for using shady business tactics. Please understand that customers who are smart enough to see through your dishonesty will take offense to being conned, and not want to waste anymore time looking at your other cars if the one they specifically sought out is mysteriously ~unavailable~. I also find it interesting that your employees do not wear masks inside the store? I will give credit to the few that I saw keeping it on inside, but I saw far too many for my comfort. I'm very unsettled by the poor business practices that I witnessed today, so kindly enjoy this review and do better.

Dealer Review:
I was very nervous to purchase a vehicle for many reasons, but I will say that everyone at Friendly Chevrolet was very friendly, honest, polite, and professional. I am very happy with my purchase and the process was so much easier than I thought it would be. Thank you to all the staff at Friendly Chevrolet this was definitely a 5 star experience.

Dealer Review:
I’d give half a star if I could. I am deeply disappointed by my experience with Texas Nissan in Grapevine. They are exactly why car dealerships have the reputation they do. First, there are bogus “non-negotiable” restoration fees tacked on to the advertised price of the car. I was upfront and honest from the get-go and got nothing but smoke and mirrors in return.
Isaiah in the finance department was snakey. I asked questions on every document I was asked to sign, was thorough in reading, (ya know, because this is a big decision and a considerable amount of money), and he brushed each of my questions and acted like I shouldn’t be taking the time to read the documents. I ended up catching mistakes on 2 documents that he had to fix and reprint. At this point, I’m not sure if they were actually mistakes or if he was trying to slip something by me.
When it came to warranty, I told him no 3 times. He kept pushing me, talking about how german cars are expensive to fix and how my car would be prone to break down during the warranty time period, definitely pressing me to the point to where I was second guessing my decision to not go with the warranty.
He asked if he took some off the price, if I would say yes. At this point, I knew I was going to be very upset with myself if I said no to warranty and something went wrong. I told him that getting up to the 16,000s in price scared me (I was paying for this car in cash and didn’t want to stretch my budget too thin). He said “okay, what if your all-in price was $15,900? Would you do it then?” And I said yes.
I financed the car to allow time for the money to move from my savings to my checking, and by the time my account was open and I was able to pay off the principal amount, I paid it off completely aside from the $100 deposit & $650 downpayment I had given the dealership.
After waiting almost a month for the $750 to be applied to my account so that I can close it out, I text Isaiah to get an update on what’s going on. He responds with a photo of paperwork (not signed by me) that says the all-in total price was $16,650.
I was initially encouraged by the sales person James, who worked with me and seemed awesome. However, after feeling like I’ve had one pulled over on me, I can firmly say I will not be doing business with Texas Nissan ever again. This has been an extremely upsetting experience, and I strongly recommend that everyone else stay away as well.

Dealer Review:
Whatever you do don’t give this place any type of “refundable” deposit they will take weeks to give it back to you (changing the excuse every time) also geez you get swarmed as soon as you pull up even if you have been there five days in a row … marissa the “manager” is very sketchy.. Personally wouldn’t trust her.. it’s very hard for her to take NO for an answer..I honestly wish my salesman would of left her out of it!! Lots of added addendums on the prices .. Umm… yea .. instead of waiting for me to make up my mind basically they tried to force me to buy a car which is my personal opinion on my experience there …
The next dealership I went to had zero addendums added aaaaaaaand sold me my car at INVOICE price!!!!! It’s a 2020 with 14k miles 😁😁😁
never forget there’s always another car at another dealership…. never settle!!!
(Edit: Also 2 people that I know of there have Covid and one of them is the manager and the salesman I was working with directly 😢 )

My beloved 6-speed manual transmission TSX was over nine years old and enough little things were going wrong with it that it was time for a new car. With a house to remodel and kids in extracurricular activities I couldn't afford a luxury (or even sorta-luxury) performance sedan. So I was looking for a practical, reliable commuter car with an automatic transmission I could hand off to my daughter in 5 years when it's paid off and she's 16. Being a Honda/Toyota guy this made me think about a Civic. I got the EX-L since I could at least get a nicer Civic in my price range. I was expecting a major step down from my TSX, but this Civic (which I viewed as a necessity/compromise and wasn't really excited to purchase) has slowly been impressing me. In Eco mode it's the gutless wonder you expect a Civic to be but if you really stomp on the gas or take it out of Eco mode or even put it in sport mode that combination of 1.5L turbo and CVT transmission make it go right now. The 6-speed stick shift was one of my favorite things about my TSX but this Civic always seems to be in the right gear and I don't notice any clunky downshifting or lag when I press the gas. Handling is good (Honda always does that better than Toyota IMO) but then of course that makes for a rougher ride. I drove on an old patch of the 57 and got shaken and stirred. That's when you know you're in a Civic the most. The interior is pretty nice. I'm 6'2" and I fit OK but to get the most out of the legroom I have to crank the back of the seat all the way down because it goes down and back at the same time. So I pretty much have to fall down into the seat. In the end I think I'll miss my TSX's driver's seat the most, especially it's lumbar support. Sitting so low is made up for by the excellent rear-view camera and right-mirror camera. I'm using Android Auto with the Civic and the Navi is GREAT, so don't shell out extra for Honda's navi. Google Play Music found my music and playlists on my phone with no work from me but it doesn't play my podcasts. It seems like it's possible, but I haven't figured it out yet (I used Rocket Player and Doggcatcher before but Android Auto won't "channel" them through the car). Speaking of music, I'm iffy on the stereo system. The Civic has lots of speakers and very clear sound but not much oomph on the low end. I've turned down the treble, turned up the bass and shifted the balance rearward but it's still not as good as default settings were on my TSX. Interior storage cubbies are weird but plentiful. There's room for your cups, phone, sunglasses, gum, etc. but it may be down a cave and around a corner and a little dangerous to try to get at while you are driving. Overall I like this car. It doesn't come with a lot of bragging rights (I'm a 42-year old family man, though... In my twenties I probably would have been a LOT more proud of it) but my wife really likes having a fun-to-drive car back in the family for her (she doesn't drive stick and our other car is a minivan) and the best compliment I can give this Civic is that given its relative comfort (as long as my youngest can still fit behind me) and WAY better gas mileage than the minivan, it has become the weekend family commuter car, so long as we're not going to Costco or Home Depot. I wasn't expecting that to happen. I thought the Civic would be too small and too dull to want to drive any more than necessary but it has turned out to be a great not-so-little family car and it's getting lots of use. Two end notes: 1. Sorry this review has no paragraph breaks, the online form is not allowing me to hit enter. 2. Gas mileage includes driving over hills to work every day.
